A call to young European circus performers, aged 10 - 25 years. European Youth Circus - many prizes available for selected artists.
Every other year, around 80 young artistes (up to 25 years of age) from all over Europe meet in Wiesbaden to take part in a grand festival. They present their skills to the audience in a competition. However, it is not only artistes who meet at the European Youth Circus but also a considerable number of circus and variety directors as well as agencies who come together in Wiesbaden in order to take on the artistes for their companies and shows.
Among circus experts, the European Youth Circus is considered as a kind of market place for artistes and it is an important date in the shedule of the grand European circus festivals. Apart from the circus festivals in Paris and Monte Carlo, the European Youth Circus in Wiesbaden is one of the most important events of its kind in Europe.
The next European Youth Circus will take place from 30. October to 2. November 2008. Please send your application with DVD/Video until 30. April 2008.
