Doplgenger Artistic Collective announces the continuation of the Mirage concept. Mirage Inter, an interdisciplinary project dealing with themes of media manipulation, stereotype, identity, and communication seeks international and regional performers (actors, dancers, musicians) to realise a project from 30 June-11 July 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. The project combines film, theatre and video performance. Mirage Inter will question the theme of EU identity and identities that aren’t members or spatial parts of EU and Europe as continent.
Applicants should be familiar with the praxis of modern/avant-garde/postmodern theatre and language of film, between 20 and 27 years old. Working language is English. All meals, accommodation, studio space along with technical support and facilities are provided. Deadline for sending applications is 5 March 2008.
