Deny once/Allow once bug(?) - Outpost Users Support Forum
Deny once/Allow once bug(?) Outpost v2.1.303.4009SVCHOST.EXEWhen I say deny once, it is always denied (I can see this from the log). When I say allow once, it is always allowed (I can see this from the log). What's up?
Doesn't the "deny once"/"allow once" rule apply to one connection request only? Re: Deny once/Allow once once is not enough author What do you mean, "it is always allowed"?
Do you mean that subsequent connections are allowed?
Or are you talking about that the connection you allowed remains on for a long time? Re: Deny once/Allow once bug(?) I don't know.I allowed it once is not enough author and I can see the log that there is a series of entires with reason "allow once".Same with blocking. Re: Deny once/Allow once bug(?) In my experience when there's a series of allow once, once is not enough author means exactly that.
You hit allow once for every instance of it in the logs.
Are you really saying that if you hit "Allow Once" only one time then that exact same connection (same IP and port) comes up multiple times? Can you post a screen shot of that happening please. Re: Deny once/Allow once bug(?) Quote: I think so: "comes up" meaning "is allowed".
Meaning that making a new connection to the once is not enough author IP/port is allowed without a confirmation from Outpost.Quote: Sure, when I get home.
