dust in the wind lyrics Heavy sigh. Does anyone else have issues with the 5D and the 100-400L?Everytime I use it, I have the worst "dust on the sensor" issues....and it takes absolutely forever dust in the wind lyrics many pec pads & attempts) to clean the sensor.
If you have experienced this, do you have any solutions?
Nope, use the 100-400 L and the 5D all the time and haven't notice a significant difference in dust issues at all.Mark

would have issues of dust inside of the lens not on the sensor, it the change in volume of the lens that cause dust to suck in..
But I have the 100-400 and I have no issues with it either...
How often do you change your lenses?do you change your lense with your camera facing up or down, or sideways?

Facing down. With the camera off and the new lens ready to be mounted...I'm S careful.
Also, I don't switch it outside (even if I have to walk forever to find a room w/no wind)...
Now you know why that lens is called the dust pumper.Only solution is to get a sealed lens that does not zoom in and out like the dust pumper.
As far as I know, having only primes would help in that matter.

Dust happens, just blow it or clean them off after the shoot...

Take off the TC and you're back at 300mm, plus you retain IS..
