I couldn't really understand him either, so i had to read the subtitles.
But then, i think that his acting is just fantastic, so it makes up for the words that we can't understand, in my opinion ^^
Well...if you really want to know the reason watch episode 7 when they tell the truth....episode six also tells why he hate his dad so much well....these things are just there to push the story better

Bobby's dad, he's one of those old ancient TVB actor, he's in alot of TVB series but his Cantonese is hard to understand.

Yep I agree with all of you, I liked seeing them become close again.
Before when we didn't know why their relationship was so complicated but now we do, and it was a misunderstanding and his dad was forgiven..

It's great that they resolved their misunderstanding, always good to put in family issues like this, it not only teaches young kids who "hate" their parents to talk otherwise no one knows what the other is thinking.
