Picture Of A Wheatland 806 FWA Out In Central Kansas - Red Power Magazine Community

Heres an old FWA 806 wheatland just sitting on a large farm in central Kansas. He had quite a few IH tractors.A decent old 151 IH combine on the same farm.A nice old 715 IH just sitting on this farm. The unloading auger is perfect and I could sure use it.A rare 40 Oliver diesel SP combine sitting in the shed on this rose parade MM pull type on this farm.985 New Holland on this farm. The amount of machinery on this farm is staggering. The owner is 66 yrs old and someday there will be a huge sale here.I coundnt get close wheatland wi but heres a poor picture of about wheatland wi old wheatland wi combines (403-715-915) sitting on a farm about 2 miles from where my Mom grew up.This is SE of Lindsborg,KS.
Man!!!!! I can not believe thae equipment you find like that Blaine.

There just aren't that many farms around this part of the country that have all of the old equipment parked like that.Twelve to 14 years ago there was a farm like wheatland wi less with in 5 miles of Wilson Gatewoods.

It was just down the road from Hamalton Southeastern High School Out in the woods on this farm was a treasure of empliments.

I went trespassing one day to see the treasure.

It included a F 20 with a #24 picker still on it, an AC Roto Bailer, Little Genius plows, Oliver Superior Drill, every combine they had ever owned, and that isn't even scratching the surface.

Its was all gone last time I was by there.
misr digital I suppose he doesnt want to sell that 806,he'd probably rather see it go to a salvage yard and melted down.

I hate it when they wont sell stuff, and would rather it just rot. mists of avalon QUOTE(red_reaper @ Feb 5 2007, 07:46 PM)I suppose he doesnt want to sell that 806,he'd probably rather see it go to a salvage yard and melted down.

south dakota lottery rob reiner Blaine, if you ever run across a JD wagon hoist that is run off the tractor pto and picks up the wagon front wheels like they use at the grain elevators let me know.

We had one when I was a kid.

Immagine how desireable that would be in a Deere Collection now.

I always love stumbling across farm places where the old stuff just kinda sits there.

Seems like a time capsule, history is just frozen there.

Don't ever see much of that around here, maybe once in a great while.

Now, head west of here towards O'Neill, and further west, or south towards Splading, & west of there yet, and there's better odds of finding scenes like this.

Very fun sights to see, to say the least!Good thing I haven't done any roadtripping to these areas w/ the Powerstroke & trailer, something just might come home w/ me!Thanks for the pictures, Blaine!
