CALL ADAM NOW!

6:01AM – DEAD BUT NOT GONE
Thinking about the days of yore, Adam, Danny, and Teresa compare the differences in life styles during the last few wars versus today. One major thing Danny noticed was that after his sister-in-law died, she continued to receive mail. Same thing happened to Adam’s mother-in-law with coming up for jury duty about a month after she died. Teresa’s black stepfather however takes the cake – when he died, his death certificate somehow listed him as white.
6:17AM – PETER KING
When Adam discovered that corn isn’t really that nutritious, his world rocked a little as it’s a favorite food of his. Of course, while explaining this to Angie in the kitchen during the break, Angie once again informs him that she doesn’t like the taste of corn. In fact, decides Adam, Angie actually may not like any food at all.
SAnyone who doesn’t like corn is un-American…” agrees phoner Peter tamara witmer His new weight loss though has little to do with corn and more to do with exercise and a healthy diet. Given his job though, he often finds himself in his hotel room at 3AM, hungry, and faced only with the choice of the vending machine of packaged snacks down the hall.
Adam wants to know about the lack of an NFL team in LA and the rumor that part of the reason is that owners use the threat of moving their team to LA as a lever to get what they want. While it’s a decent theory, Peter explains that to build something in Los Angeles for tamara witmer it would cost somewhere in the ballpark of $1 billion. Another option that’s being encouraged is for the teams across the country to give up one game a year and tamara witmer play it in LA, but this still doesn’t give any Angelinos the home team they want.
Peter and Adam also chat a little about the revenue sharing tactics of MLB and NHL, the history of the process, and tiger attack san francisco some of the players happen to have done with tamara witmer extra funds.
6:48AM – TAMING YOUR FAT ASS
Adam’s struck by the simplicity of your traditional weight loss plan, running and watching what you eat. T admits that she’s run the gamut from a 2 all the way up to a 14. When she was a writer on Win Ben Stein’s Money, she was at her largest – but as the only girl on an all male staff, between the doughnuts, Red Vines, and other bad snacks they tossed at the staff, it’s not a big mystery as to why T ballooned.
The nut of the month club is a temptation for Adam. tamara witmer of course July’s nut is a battered beer nut – as if nuts needed anything more. SIt’s the same team that came up with the idea of deep-frying a Snickers bar!” decides Adam. Another point for Adam is that his wife doesn’t seem to be helping, as she just left them on the counter when his assistant Jay brought them up and left them on the counter.
And now I’m hiding my nuts, explains Adam, so he’ll have some left over after his photoshoot. In fact, they’re hiding about three feet away in a place she’ll never look – the oven.
7:10AM – TERESA REPORTS THE NEWS
T reports all the news worth hearing.
7:35AM – KEN BURNS AND THE WAR
Emmy-Award winning film documentarian Ken Burns is in the studio, but Adam’s immediately struck by his boyish face and the fact that despite the familiarity of his name, he’d tamara witmer really seen Ken’s face.
Ken’s new documentary about World War II is a favorite topic of Adam’s. To seize upon the experience of being in that war, Ken and his team took four geographically distinct towns, found as many veterans as they could and followed them through their lives during the war.
Given his depth and breadth of knowledge, Adam wonders that if Ken had an eligible son back in 1938 or so, what branch would he want him to go behindtourhot.blogspot.com Given the dangers of the job and the prospect of being stranded in the middle an oil slick, floating in the middle of the ocean, Ken suggests it might be the Navy or Merchant Marines.
7:53AM – KEN EXPLAINS AN UNBIASED AND PERSONAL APPROACH
Immersed in the topic for 6 years, Ken and his crew attempted to tell the story of the war in an unbiased manner. However, in contrast to the current scott schwartz witmer in Iraq, Ken believes that the second World War was able to garner the support of the population to become one of the good’ wars.

Some of the best segments of this documentary though involve the very personal stories of the individuals profiled in the film. Ken recounts a story about one of the interviewees tending to a German soldier’s battle wounds on the field who revealed to him in perfect German the detailed plans of Hitler to take over the United States territories.
8:12AM – THE HOLOCAUST: MECHANIZED MURDER
Ken explains that while screening the film, it came across that the most widely publicized portion of World War II is of course the Holocaust, as when murder becomes industrialized, it’s hard not to notice. Adam agrees, that for Germany, the Holocaust seemed almost like an extra side project in the middle of a massive operation – both appalling and strategically bizarre.
What’s the connection between baseball, jazz, and war Teresa wants to know. SI think I’ve made the same film over and over again,” decides Ken. His films seem to try to discover who we are as a people, with the only difference being the details of the story.
8:32AM – MORALITY IN HIROSHIMA
Before the break, Adam asked a very introspective question: In retrospect, what are your feelings about the Hiroshima bombings? Ken explains, SWar is all about a terrible arithmetic,” and as a result of Hiroshima the war ended very quickly, but was it worth the human cost? At the end of the day, tamara witmer innocent civilians were killed to save perhaps 7 or 8 million other people around the world – but there will always be a question about the morality of the action, as even the pilots were reminded of the value of the trade-off.
Caller Nate asks Ken about the reactions to the film at the European Cannes Film Festival. It seems that regardless of the American perspective, as a window into the human experience, it had the same moving effect.
8:52AM – DAVID ALAN GRIER
DAG’s a little worked up, as tamara witmer Burns stayed on late and made DAG wait in the green room for a bit. He also notices Teresa’s special glow of being in love, composing a little ditty on the spot to commemorate the moment. tamara witmer decides it’s time to come clean about their date then, and much of it revolves around the over thinking and instant judgment of the first couple dates.
9:07AM – DAG TERRORIZES TERESA
Adam plays a classic Crank Yankers call with a freestyling DAG, tamara witmer then DAG admits to being seriously frightened on his date with T. And now that T’s got her man, DAG notices some good changes in her.
As promised before the break, Adam, T and Danny also get a chance to talk to DAG’s SPeanut”, hired to be the receptionist and answer phones, but just ill-prepared for the job.
