SOUTHERN PREMIER

Merthyr – Team Bath 2 (2.00 @Skybet) 5 units

Merthyr are in a lot of problems – they managed to pick up a point away at lousy hosts Hemel Hempstead (I thought they wouldn't) a couple of days ago, but Team Bath's away form has been superb so far. Merthyr aren't that bad at home, but Team Bath won six out of seven away matches. Their only away draw happened back in the first round (August 18th) – after that it's all wins (!). I'm sure Merthyr, who are in a lot of problems lately (goings, injuries, finances), can't win this match and they'll grab a point against the students only with a lot of luck on their side. Team Bath surely want to get back on track after an unlucky home defeat to promotion candidates Brackley, but away from home they're almost unstoppable.

(2.10 at Stanleybet, 2.00 also at Digibet and Tipico, 1.90 at Sportingbet, Bwin, Bet-at-home and Primebet, 1.87 at Pinnacle...)

FT 1:1

SOUTHERN/RYMAN DOUBLE: King's Lynn – Mangotsfield 1 @1.62 & Chelmsford – Margate 1 @1.67 (2.7054 @Bet365) 5 units

King's Lynn lost their unbeaten away record at Mangotsfield (0:1) at the beginning of December and now it's payback time. Last season, it was 3:0 for King's Lynn and I expect a similar result. Mangotsfield will play without suspended defender Ball, striker Burborough and midfielder French are injured and they lost four players who all signed for other clubs in the last month and a half. Mangotsfield has 3-3-3 away from home, they managed to score only one goal in the last four matches and I don't think they can pull a shocker here. King's Lynn's home form is 5-0-1, the only defeat was a midweek 0:1 defeat to Corby a month and a half ago.

It's time for Chelmsford to snap out of it and start winning again. Margate play very good at home, but away they're nothing to be scared of, winning only two out of their ten away fixtures. Chelmsford have 8-1-0 at home (31:6 is the goal-difference), so these odds look very good. Margate are still struggling with injuries and they have more important fixtures coming up.

RYMAN PREMIER

Wealdstone – Folkestone 1 (2.05 @Bwin) 5 units

Folkestone were great away from home at the start of the season but now they have four away defeats in a row and Wealdstone are the in-form team right now (losing only three times in the last 12 matches – at home to Hampton and Weymouth from leagues above and away at improved Tonbridge). Wealdstone played great against Conference National (two leagues above) outfit Weymouth – they conceded a goal in 94th minute but at least now they can concentrate on the league. Folkestone will most probably be without their no1 goalkeeper Mitten. It was 4:1 for the guests (Wealdstone) at Folkestone in the 1st round (August 18th). Should be a handicap win for Wealdstone here...

FT 3:2

RYMAN PREMIER

Ramsgate – Wimbledon 2 (2.50 @Bet365) 5 units

Wimbledon managed to beat Conference South outfit Maidenhead 2:0 at their place in the FA Trophy and Marcus Gayle scored the first goal. Ramsgate aren't as good as Maidenhead, but that's not the only reason for taking this bet at these odds. After losing at home to Chelmsford, Wimbledon managed to get back on track big time, and I don't think I have to write about their highly proffesional and well paid squad once again. Gayle, Jolly and some other players are all finally fit and with that kind of squad, Wimbledon are always a favorite for winning a match in Ryman Premier (except maybe against Chelmsford). Ramsgate also have a good team, but sometimes they kinda take a day off and they already lost at home to Staines and Horsham (FA Trophy) this season. A draw could also happen here, but at these terrific odds, I have to take 'mighty Wimbledon' away win.

(2.45 at Stanleybet, 2.40 at Bet-at-home, Digibet, Tipico, Primebet, 2.38 at Gamebookers, Sportingbet, Skybet, PartyBets... 1.88 for DRAW NO BET or (0) at Pinnacle – sounds great...)

FT 1:1

UNIBOND PREMIER

Marine – Buxton 1 (1.83 @Bet365) 5 units

Marine are serious promotion candidates this season and they must win matches like this. Buxton, on the other hand, played very good away from home so far, but if we look at their last three away matches, we see only one narrow win at struggling Stamford (1:0) and two defeats, at poor Leek (1:2) in the League Cup and at even poorer North Ferriby (0:1) in the league. Marine also lost at North Ferriby (1:2) last Saturday, but it was their first defeat after six straight wins. They have four home wins in a row (all handicap wins), they have a high-quality sand-based pitch and they almost always beat Buxton who won't be 6th at the end of the season. We'll probably see Marine in the play-off and I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Conference North next season. Buxton will be without Maxfield due to suspension.

(1.83 also at Paddy Power, 1.80 at Gamebookers, Sportingbet, Skybet and PartyBets, only 1.75 at Stanleybet... 1.85 currently at Pinnacle...)

FT 0:1

CONFERENCE NORTH

Gainsborough – Solihull 1 (1.91 @StanJames) 5 units

Gainsborough were unlucky not to beat Barrow, but they have another chance for points now, against much worse outfit. After all these draws and narrow defeats before the draws, it's about time for Gainsborough to claim all three points – they should've done it already against Barrow and Workington. Solihull are in a lot of problems, they lost six matches in a row now and, in the league, their away form is 1-3-5 (goal-difference 8:17). Solihull also have a couple of players out injured and the odds are simply too high not to take this bet.

(1.91 also at Blue Square, 1.90 at Stanleybet and Betway, 1.83 at Coral, 1.82 at Pinnacle, 1.80 elsewhere...)

FT 0:2

CONFERENCE NORTH

Workington – Hyde 2 (2.25 @Blue Square) 5 units

Injury-hit Workington aren't the best home team in the world (3-2-2) and Hyde are once again flying high. The last time Workington played a home match, it was a 1:3 defeat to Hucknall. Hyde have been great lately, they have four fantastic league wins in a row (all handicap wins) and both Seddon and Simm are scoring whenever they feel like it. Seddon scored three goals in the last two matches, Simm scored five in the last four matches and Tipton also scored in two matches in a row.

(2.20 at StanJames, Gamebookers, Sportingbet, Betway, 10Bet, Paddy Power, Skybet, PartyBets, Tipico, 2.15 at Stanleybet... (-0.25) is 1.83 at Pinnacle and 1.81 at 10Bet...)
