CONF SOUTH

Bromley – Lewes OVER 3.5 (3.25 @Blue Square) 3 units

Bromley are dying to get back on track – they lost their manager just before Saturday's match, three players just joined them (one of them is a new striker Savage who came from Wimbledon), they still have some injury problems but I'm sure they'll do anything to win this match. It's something they have to do after a couple of succesive defeats. Their now ex-manager tried to concentrate on the defense lately because Bromley conceded (and scored) a lot of goals, but his new 'defensive' approach didn't really work out like he wanted – they did manage to concede only one goal away at St Albans ten days ago, but they didn't manage to score and the match ended 1:0 for poor St Albans. The result could have also been 7:7 really, Bromley players only know how to play open, attacking, total football with lots of shots on goal. I think they'll attack even more now when the manager left the club. They already tried to play like that on Saturday – the pitch wasn't in the best shape after all the rain, but they still managed to hit bars and posts every now and then. The match ended 2:1 for Eastleigh and on a sunny day, there would've been a few goals more. This time, it's going to be sunny and dry – ideal for this bet. One of the Bromley's supporters nicely put it this way: ''We look shaky at the back (to say the least!), but always seem a threat going forward...''

Bromley will try to win this match, but so will current league leaders Lewes. It was a weird Saturday, a lot of matches were postponed or even abandoned after some time and a lot of matches that survived produced very weird results. Lewes lost at Hayes & Yeading (1:2), it was their second succesive defeat (Eastbourne trashed them 7:2 in the Setanta Shield cup a week ago) after five wins in a row (some of them were a great 4:1 win vs Basingstoke in the FA Trophy and even a greater 5:1 win vs promotion candidates Bishop's Stortford in the league). If they want to stay on the top (Eastbourne have a point less, but they played a match less), they have to win here, but I wouldn't be surprised with a high-scoring draw, something like 2:2 or 3:3 with Bromley attacking and scoring a couple of goals out of 25 shots and with Lewes being wise and score a couple of counter-attack goals to earn a point at least.

Lewes and Bromley already played a league match this season – it was 2:2 at Lewes and I expect a similar result here. It's also nice to notice that both Bromley's and Lewes' midweek matches produced a lot of goals so far. Let's continue with that, right guys?

3.25? Even 2.50 would be a must.

(Pinnacle offers 1.84 for OVER 2.75 and 10Bet offers 1.83 for OVER 2.75... Bet365 offers 1.63 for OVER 2.5 and 2.59 for OVER 3.5... Stanleybet offers 1.55 for OVER 2.5, 2.47 for OVER 3.5, 2.81 for 4-6 GOALS and 20.7 for OVER 6.5...)

FT 1:2
