Prokom Trefl
It would be no overstatement if I say that Prokom Trefl has assembled the best and the most talented roster ever. Team owner Ryszard Krauze really wants Polish champions to make Elite Eight this year and made some really big moves during the summer. NBA Finals (2000.) participant Travis Best, fantastic scorer and World champion Milan Gurovic or number 6 of 2002 NBA draft DaJuan Wagner are the top names although Prokom also inked Olympic champion Ruben Wolkowyski and Euroleague champion Thomas Van Den Spiegel.

These two replaced Huseyin Besok, Michael Andersen and Adam Wojcik inside and that doesn’t look like the best move. It’s not because they are not good enough, but adding PF Filip Dylewicz and Tomas Masiulis, Prokom has only 4 big guys and both centers are injury-prone - Wolkowyski missed some preseason games, VDS didn’t play in Polish league Day Two. Playing with Masiulis or Dylewicz on center position isn’t the best option for a top Euroleague team. The other problem is if one ball would be enough for Gurović, Wagner, Best and last season Polish league Finals MVP Donatas Slanina. Each of these can really make 10-15 shots per game. I really wonder how coach like Kijewski will use them all.
