SOLFERNUS is an apocalyptic black metal band from Brno, Czech Republic. It was founded by Igor Hubík (also in Root), Khaablus (ex-Inner Fear) and Paramba (also in Asgard) in 2002. Both albums, they recorded, are full of noble guests, for example: Ashok (guitar in Root), Big Boss (vocals in Root), Bruno (vocals and bass in Hypnös, ex-Krabathor), Dasha Bortlová (vocals in Tisíc let od ráje), Blackie (guitar in Cales, ex- Root) etc. The second album includes among others a black metal cover version of the song Antichrist (originally recorded by Slayer for the Show No Mercy album).
