Alumni afternoon
Today advanced team had first training. We talked about our advanced team expectations and what we will have to do in advanced team. We also worked in presentation skills. It was really fun.
We had our packet lunch at The Westin La Paloma hotel as there is where alumni are staying. After the lunch we greeted alumni and we talked to them. It was pretty amazing to talk to some of the alumni and I’m really looking forward to it. There have been more than 1200 alumni and all or they are going to watch our tomorrow’s show. Wow… it’s going to be really amazing as Up with People is not as it was 10 or 20 or even 30 years ago. Mission of the program is still the same, but they changed a lot of things.
Did you know that there is a cactus called Jumping cactus and that he shots needles if you touch him. Also, saguaro cactus grows his hands at the age of 75 and most of that kind of cactus's here are more than 100 years old. Wow, that’s amazing.
Today we also had a chance to meet Mahatma Ghandi's grandson and his lovely wife.
Well, tomorrow is the show day and we have a lot of practice to do tomorrow as we are performing with cast B. We are going to present Up with People both casts in tomorrows show. Wow, that’s going to be something.
