Lo Fidelity Allstars - Warming Up The Brain Farm: The Best Of
Genre: Electronic, Big Beat, Funk, Trip Hop | 2CD | MP3 | VBR | 165
The Lo Fidelity Allstars are a London-based electronica group who have recorded from the late 1990s to the present. [Lo-Fidelity Allstars] combine rock, hip-hop and house into a big-beat pudding. [It's] the catchiest thing to come out of the post-everything dance scene since Fatboy Slim's Better Living Through Chemistry. These scrappy young Brits sound like the bastard children of the Stone Roses and Public Enemy, with a quick Chemical Brothers tryst on the side. All blaring sirens and ruthlessly scratched-up vinyl, shouted slogans and cheeky lyrics, their impact on the placid late-'90s U.K. music scene has been dramatic.
