Ah..it was 1994, i had 19 years and was stupid and young...i was sooo in electronical music but specially on trance style...one of my many heroes was Oliver Lieb..i will never forget the day i bought double 12" from Spicelab "A day on our planet" rls. 94 on Harthouse label(owned by sven vath)...
I didn't listen it in shop but i waited until i came home...i knew Oliver Lieb works and the reason i bought this album was that it had "only" 4 tracks but every one was 16-19 minutes long...i thought it must be good..it must...and i was wrong...it was better then that..still it is my number one trance album of all times...i don't have it like mp3 but only like vinyl so i can't upload it...but if any of You are still too young to remember those glory days of electronial music when the main phrase was "underground" and not like today...superstar dj's, big party's, money...i supose same thing happened to rock'n'roll..in the begining it was pure...later it became rotten...
The first track for You to download is l.s.g. - Blueprint(version 1) - hard to find.. almost on every compilation You can find version or part2 and second is l.s.g. - Concatenation and then there was The Art of Trance on Platipus label which had it specific sound, nice trance goa style, this is my favourite track from Platipus called Art of Trance - Cambodia [Clanger Remix] ... so You have three songs from past century and all those tracks means a lot to me...a lot...and please remember that the year of birth was 1994..so maybe they are not "perfectly" produced but they are "perfect" to me..ah wait i found track that always made me "touchy" ...perfect trance track...this track was sooo massive undergorund hit from soma label called Rejuvination - Requiem (Part I) ....ok once more..unfortunatelly many people heard for Emmanuel Top when he made that stupid song which i can remember but he was before a master of e.top acid sound..he made sooo many scary songs and this is one of them...Emmanuel Top - stress..well who doesn't remember Turkish Bazar..or Acid phase or Climax or Cold and so on so on.....
Oliver Lieb had many nick names like spicelab, l.s.g., Paragliders etc. and the reason for that is every nick different story, different sounds especailly l.s.g. so if You ever stumble on Spicelab album A day on our planet....GRAB IT AND RUN!!!
Does anyone remebers Microwave Prince...le petit prince label, superstition...and of course my favourite label touche records...
