I felt you
I felt you coming last night, climbing up my window
like a lover running into secure arms of his dearest love,
trying to hide from the darkness that surrounded you.
You knew that I'd be there, waiting for you.
I sensed your presence long before you came standing
next to my bed. My nostrils were filled with your perfume,
so sweet and familiar, lulling me into memories of the time
we once had.
You sat on my bed and put your hand on my face. It was
warm, soft and tender. I knew you wouldn't hurt me.
You tenderly carressed me and my tired heart stilled.
I opened my eyes for only a slight but saw nobody. I know,
they wouldn't let me see you, your beauty! But I felt your
love, and your hand was still on my face.
Then you lowered down to me and kissed my nose and my
cheek. And then you moved your lips next to my ear and
whispered:
"Have no dark fears, just remember that I love you like no
one has ever tried! And there is one who longs for you! But
just have patience."
And then you dissappeared, leaving me safely tucked in my
bed with the smell of your perfume staying long after you
were gone.
While I slept a single tear fell on my cheek, knowing that's
the ultimate proof I'll ever need.
