The legend of the chocolate's origin
Centuries ago, a princess, left to take care of her husband's richness who was a great warrior gone away to defend the empire's borders, was struck down by the enemies, who vainly tired to force her to reveal them the location of the treasure.She was killed as revange and from the blood of the faithfull wife, the cacao plant was born whose fruit hides a treasure of seeds which are ˝bitter as love pains, strong as virtue, gently blushed as blood˝.
The cacao plant seed was called at first cacahualt and then chocolatl, the word that anticiped the ˝chocolate˝ word which today is well known and appreciated by more than 300 languages of the world.
