Dear colleagues,

World Ex libris competition with the topic Bread – cultural heritage is organized by BalkanKult Foundation in cooperation with EricArts Institute from Bonn, Turkish Ex libris Society, Museum of Bread in Ulm and Ex libris Association of Belgrade.

Bread is one of the greatest discoveries of mankind! There is no doubt that bread is the most common food found on dinner tables worldwide. But, Bread is not only a food, it is a symbol of spirituality and a reflection of cultural traditions. The secret of Bread lies in its true gastronomic, spiritual and cultural uniqueness.

We call you to take participation as representative of your own culture and encourage your members to send us their works that will be shown all round the world in an exhibition followed by the representative catalogue. The catalogue will gather the best works selected by quality criterion.

We would appreciate if you could animate the artists to participate in this intriguing Ex libris competition and disseminate this information through your newsletters.

More detailed information can be found on the official web site www.breadculture.net, contact address is contact@breadculture.net

We would be grateful if you could send us lists of your members as we would also like to contact them directly.

Thank you in advance!

Sincerely,

Sandra Markovic
