I participated TAIZE meeting twice - in Munchen and in Paris. Both of the meetings were nice experience. However, I consider this meeting in Zagreb special blessing for myself and my parish of Saint John the Baptist in Ivanja Reka. My neighbours were honoured to host young people in their homes. I watched and I couldn't believe. They were so happy and proud when they came to church with their guests every morning. Everybody claimed to have the best guests. They forced young people to eat even when they were not hungry, they tucked them in beds, dried their hair, adviced them to wear warmer clothes or even asked them to quit smoking. On January 1 st all of them cried and wished TAIZE meeting lasted at least a month longer. The best thing TAIZE meeting brought to Ivanja Reka is decision of us, young people from the area, to keep praying and singing together in the spirit of TAIZE.
