I was very inspired for writing a post today but it kinda faded, I should have written something right after my Sunday-morning-dog-walk. Now when I think about it...inspiration did not fade that much. However, think twice before you take a pregnant doggy to Sunday morning socialisation. Vilma is insane since she is pregnant, let me tell you!! She made literally a persona non grata out of me in the park today. Still, I ran into a bunch of idiots today. People are strange! Since I got a dog, that was 3,5 years ago, I often argue around. I do not know if there is something wrong with me or there is a huge amount of weirdos out there. I do not understand people who are afraid of dogs. Ok, I also have issues with some of those “dangerous” breeds...but there are people afraid of a poodle. Of course, I cannot oppose their legitimate right to be frightened but they cannot oppose my legitimate right to be annoyed by them. Parents who teach their children to be afraid of dogs bug me even more. What is that about? Of course they need to teach them to be careful, to approach only certain dogs and ask the owner if they could...but most of them just overdo it with hysteria. I go crazy when I see them picking children up in their arms and nervously yelling at the dog to get away, and the dog is not even interested. How could a kid not get frightened? I would! A kid then sees that there is something to be afraid of, if he sees his mother/father react like that. If they feel that way, why the hell they bring kids into a very known dog-park when there are so many others in town. There is also, a bunch of savages around who still think that dogs live only to serve a purpose and not to be pets. Then there are those who walk in their too short pants, white socks and black shoes, with their hands on their back...wandering around looking for a reason to nag and protest from pure boredom. They usually find some poor goof, like me, to make their day. They usually nag and give public lectures on dog crap. Even before dog does it, and certainly before you put your nylon bag out of your pocket...that is such a turn off for them! They are actually disappointed if you pick the crap up because they have to shut their mouth then. And what about those who get pissed if a dog urinates on their car tyre? If he did that, it probably means that a dozen others did that before him...get over it!! Male dogs do that! Why the hell you hill billies spit on the street?? It is better to ignore that nonsense, if you argue - they win! The lecture will take forever, so it is better to walk away.
And last but not least; I cannot stand the owner of that bar in the park. That guy bugs me! He acts like he has the most prestigious bar in the whole country just because it actually has plastic windows and a fake sunflower now. Hey asshole, go and buy a bar in the centre of the town for all the fancy celebrity wannabes...you live and buy those white shoes from us, dog owners in this park!
