he has always wanted to be a hero.... since he was old enough to pick up a wooden sword his father made him to practice. alas, he had no great talent in wielding a weapon. but he tried hard and managed to discipline his moves; he could fight, but it was no glorious sight. guided with the desire to be a good fighter Tyron became obsessed with stories of barvery and courage, but yet he wasn't good enough. so his father took him on a jorney to visit a friend of his, a mage, as he thought that if not sword, Tyron could master the Art.... but once again he put a great deal of effort in his learning but magic wasn't so natural to him... he enjoyed playing with light he made and fire that burned, but he never succeded to learn any advanced spell... Tyron was very disappointed, and set his mind to leave home in search of adventure in which he'll prove worthy...
once he was walking trought a forest, merryily chanting a song he picked up in an inn he often visited.... and by the river he encountered an elf with long grey hair, dressed in brown.
-i know what you seek, human. you have come to me several times in my dreams. you are the one who shall be called a hero.
Tyron looked at the elf.
-but i'm no good. neither i'm a great fighter neither a powerful wizard. how can i be a hero?
-have you learnt nothing from all those stories you've collected over the years? you are to be the one who will bring the word of the wakening of dragons to Solamnia.
-but i told you i'm no good at anything!
elf was silent for a while. when he finally spoke Tyron heard his words in his heart and knew they were true.
-no. you are good in everything. but your greatest weapon is no sword or magic. your wits, stories you know how to tell, and most grand - your music is what you rely upon.
Tyron shook his head in agreement. he smiled as he at last knew what is to become of him.
-what did you said about the dragon again?
