It is my last working day in the office where I worked as a replacement. At the begining it was owful, I thought that I would die from all those faxes, phones, people, computer.... I was trying to go with the flow with all that phone transfering and having at least 4 phone books open at all time where I was constantly searching for some phone number in panic.
Now the situation is different, although I would not want to stay here, I am glad that I have seen how this works. ....and I flip those phones like there's no tomorrow!
I must admit it is pretty stressing and I admire women that do it everyday (especially if they have two bosses and the whole office depends on them....I am talking about the lady with a nice handwriting). Also, I am glad that I saw that some things actually work in the system and that there are people you can turn to when you have a problem of any kind in this city. Before I just thought they would not give you the time of day. Luckily for all of us, some of them give their best to help.
Still, I have a problem with an old guy that comes often to appointments, reads newspaper while waiting and makes me INSANE with the way he chews his gum soooooo loudly!!
All in all, for a trainee of 16 months, this was a good introduction. This way I have met most of the people in the office...but it is time to go back to my old department and nice people that work there.
