Congratulations to Aleksandar Jecmenica, WTC’s ESL Teacher of the Month for May 2006. After successfully breaking through the Earth’s atmosphere and touching down in the western hemisphere, Aleksandar was given Canadian citizenship. He has taught ESL for 14 years after successfully creating discordant, improvisational utterances with his old cronies in Serbia. These days he wows his students with 20 foot high leaps and deep three point shots during basketball games, and supersonic goal scoring during soccer games. He has been known to recreate horrific events from history using paper Mache. Turquoise is his favorite color, nobody knows why.
