UK veterani, teškaši u metal vodama, skupina Iron Maiden, proslavit će 20 godina postojanja sa box setom od šest CD-ova i Best Of albumom.
Sve navedeno na tržište dolazi 5.studenog preko izdavačke kuće Columbia, a dan ranije materijali će na tržište i u ostatku svijeta.
Oba uratka su dobila ime po njihovoj maskoti imena Eddie pa tako imate Eddie's Archive box set i Edward the Great Best Of album.
Box set bit će dostupan u limitiranom izdanju pakiran u srebrnoj kuticiji.
Eddie's Archive predstavlja u stvari dva dvostruka CD-a koja arhiviraju ranije nastupe benda tj. one do 1998. godine.
Prva dva zovu se BBC Archives i sadrže snimke nastale između 1979. i 1988. godine.
Drugi par CD-ova nosi naziv Beast Over Hammersmith, a radi se o kompletnom showu Iron Maiden's 1982 Beast on the Road turneje. Mjesto radnje bilo je Hammersmith Odeon u Londonu.
Treći par diskova naziva se The Best of the B'Sides, a radi se o kolekciji svih studijskih pjesama i nekih uživo stvari koje su se pojavile kao b-strane na singlovima koje je bend objavljivao tijekom svih ovih godina.
Na listi covera tu su "Cross-Eyed Mary" ( Jethro Tull), "My Generation"( the Who's) i "Doctor Doctor"(UFO).
Što se tiče Best Of albuma Edward the Great on sadrži 16 pjesama koje čine presjek karijere skupine Iron Maiden.
Tu su između ostalih i "Run to the Hills", "Wasted Years", "The Wicker Man," i uživo verzija "Fear of the Dark" snimljena na Rock In Rio festivalu.
