Da svi budu jedno...
To su riječi izrečene jednog četvrtka u Jeruzalemu prije 2000 godina. Izgovorio ih je On, Mesija, Kralj, Učitelj, Spasitelj, Pravi Bog. To je Njegova molitva Ocu za nas. I još je rekao:
Ne molim samo za njih nego i za one koji će po njihovim riječima vjerovati u me, da svi budu jedno. Ivan 17,20
Uvijek me to potrese jer tu Isus izravno spominje i nas, koji smo došli poslije i koji Ga danas slijedimo.
May each of us hear the forgiving words of Jesus that we may turn from the wrong way and travel the path of friendship, love and unity shown by the Saviour.
Lord Jesus, we thank you for your presence among us, strengthening and encouraging us on our way. Make us aware of your presence in us and responsive to your promptings in all that we do. Grant us the wisdom and humility to recognize your presence in our brothers and sisters. Make us truly one, O Lord. Amen
