who am i?i am a long time oracle dba who started to wurk wiv oracle rdbms in 1989. at dat time, i was introduced to oracle version 4, on pc/xt. it is well ard to believe dat oracle instance used to fit in only 512 kb of memory. i worked wiv every maja version of oracle rdbms since thun. durin my lengthy carea i performed all kinds of jobs, from cobol programma, vax/vms administrata and traina to unix system administrata. as a dba, i ave an ample opportunity to use various scriptin lingos dig shell, perl, php and awk.
