Christina is furious about persistent rumors that she and rival crooner Britney Spears are jealous dueling divas.
Most recently, Christina is accused of sneering at the mom-to-be because she "let herself gp."
Britney's sexy image is now gone for good, Christina allegedly asserted, adding, "I can't see a comeback in the cards." But Christina insists she never made the snide comment and that she and her former childhood pal really "have the utmost respect for each other personally and professionally."
"If certain journalists want to throw their integrity out the window by spreading false information, then so be it!" she adds. "But I'm not falling for their lies, and neither should my fans or Britney's!"
Christina and Britney's friendship goes back to 1989 when they became the two youngest members of the New Mickey Mouse Club on afternoon TV.
