INVITATION FOR ECOLOGICAL WORKCAMP, WITH JOURNALISM AND PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
"LET THE SUNSHINE (IN)!"
WHAT?
- Educational workcamp
- Learn how to use alternative energy and build a solar cooker and a solar oven, as well as a solar collector
- Build shelves for open-air kichen
- Produce Eco-soap
- Cleaning a lake near Vukovar.
- Visit natural park «Kopacki rit»
- Art workshop with students from Art-therapy faculty in Germany.
- Workshop about journalism and photography activism
- Video projection about activism
- Together make foto-gallery in town about some problem relevant for youth
WHEN?
- Arrival on August 18, until 18:00
- Departure on August 27, during the day
WHERE?
- In Vukovar, Croatia
- On the premises of YPGD (Vocarska 17, 32000 Vukovar)
WHO?
- Volunteers from the SEE region, aged between 18 and 28, which are interested in Ecology and Activism
TECHNICALITIES
- Please bring: tent, sleeping bag, matress (for the tent), music, movies, instruments, swimming suits, mosquito repellent, juggling equipment, PHOTO CAMERA
- Accomodation is provided by YPGD, in a dormitory
- Food will be organized by kitchen teams, so bring recipies typical for your region, and make sure you knwo how to prepare them
- Travel reimbursement will be effected by your sending organizations, at the end of the workcamp season, directly with SEEYN secretariate
