Na slici: Jonathan Alan Carr and Todd Alan Greenquist celebrated their partnership yesterday at Camp Hammond, a catering hall in Yarmouth, Me. Marsha Hilton-Kingdon, a notary public and a friend of Mr. Carr, performed the ceremony and signed the couple's registration as domestic partners.
Mr. Carr (above, left), 44, is a chef who cooks for special events in Scarborough, Me. He graduated cum laude and received an M.B.A. from Thomas College in Waterville, Me.
Mr. Greenquist, 43, is a consultant in Scarborough who helps companies configure their accounting software. He graduated from Dartmouth College.
The couple met in 1995 when both were tenors with the Maine Gay Men's Chorus in Portland.
