Hi guys! This blog is about salsa in Croatia but I was stupid if I though it would stay that way. So, this is first English story and I'll keep it short.
Anyway, the topic is Salsa Festival in Riga as you can see from attached picture. This event has been made possible because of my two dear friends from Riga and a group of salsa enthusiasts gathered around those two. I met some of the guys and girls and I can say they are teriffic and warm people. Anyway, to go back to the topic, this is their first festival and i can assure you that although you cannot expect the flashines you might sometimes be used to on similar events (some bigger West European or USA festivals) you will not lack warm welcome and friendliness the people in Riga will offer you. If you worry about the workshops, well.. Super Mario will be there, a very good Cuban teacher Oliver Paredes from Finland will be there (for Casino fans) and some other dancers and young enthusiastics teachers who will try really hard to not dissapoint any of you.
Anyway, think about it this way. It is a great opportunity to visit a major Baltic port with medieval scent to it. It is well connected with the rest of the Europe by EasyJet, RyanAir & AirBaltic low cost airline services. Why not give it a try! I know, I will ;)
Que viva la salsa!
Evo, dobio sam kritike da nikako ne održavam stranicu i šta je je... nisam baš ažuran..eto..lijen sam...to je napokom izašlo na vidjelo..
I šta sad? Ništa.. reći ću vam novost pa brišem ća poklopljenih ušiju (koje su nemale..svi to znaju..)
Dakle, salsa festival u Rigi...pih..big deal...e pa za mene je itekako big deal i to ćete skužiti ako kliknete na link (festival).
Eto, pohvalio sam se (tj. Los Mamberose) ... a šta ću kad moram.
Dakle, datum je tamo negdje za Valentinovo i jedva čekam da vam prenesem svoje dojmove iz Latvije. No, zašto sam ovo uopće spomenuo..
Svaki salsa happening, bio to festival, congress ili kako ga već zovu..je izvrsna prilika za (odaberi kako god ti paše):
- super druženje
- plesa sve dok noge slušaju
- učenje mali milijun novih stvari
- putovanje
- upoznavanje novih prijatelja (prijateljica ;=) )
- sve zajedno + još puno toga!
Ovo zadnje je moj osobni izbor. Svaki salsa congress na kojem sam bio (ovo će biti treći, ali neće ostati na tome..) je stvarno priča za sebe i vjerujte mi, vrijedi svakog novčića kojeg sam utrošio u to.
Ja sam tip koji voli aktivni odmor, ako je u to uključena salsa još bolje, a ako je u tuključen neki workshop salse sa super instruktorima (i instruktoricama) super ! ..
