Destroying my dreams

I used to think,
My life is better than anything.
I had my dreams,
But I noticed that nothing`s what it seems.
People started destroying my dreams,
Blewing my hopes away,
Saying I am too old to dream!
I wanted to shout,
But I couldn`t
I was too stressed out!
Then I realized
Who are they to judge me,
To destroy my hopes, my dreams,
They became shadows, shadows of what they used to be,
Cause they gave up on their dreams,
That˙s the worst thing you may do...
To destroy your dreams,
Or let somebody else do that!
