Tom Gabel, leader of acclaimed Modern Rock band Against Me!, returns to his roots as a solo singersongwriter- acoustic guitarist with the EP Heart Burns. Inspired by the country’s current political and cultural landscape, and recorded this summer between Against Me! tours, Gabel wanted to release the topical and timely songs prior to the forthcoming national elections. With new-millennium protest songs such as “Anna Is A Stool Pigeon,” prompted by a story about an environmental activist sent to jail after being implicated by an undercover informant, Heart Burns is a scorching musical manifesto.

Black President is a punk rock supergroup based out of Los Angeles, California. The band is made up of Christian Black (Dee Dee Ramone Band, Strychnine Babies) on vocals, and Charlie Paulson (Goldfinger) on guitars, P.K. supač! malo pocječa na zadnji propagandi...a lasefem svashta sere Polar Bear Club is an indie rock/hardcore band from Rochester and Syracuse, New York. A demo released in 2005 brought them much attention, and was simply a precursor to their first EP, "The Redder, the Better", released in Summer 2006 on Triple Attack and Luchador Records. The EP contained catchy, pop-punk songs with lots of of opportunities for energetic sing-a-longs, and was found to be a fan and zine favorite throughout the year.

The only difference was that, at the end, we had quite a few more friends singing along than we had at the beginning. In 2004 The New Dress began writing songs that reflected their shared love for whoa-oh-ohs and a general concern for the state-of-things, inspired by socially conscious punk bands as well as folk artists. Playing with the bands they love (Dear Tonight, Nakatomi Plaza, The Measure, Against Me!, The Queers, Love or Perish-- to name a few) meant standing out a bit, and trying to appeal to punk rock and hardcore fans with a single guitar and a couple of voices.
Its 2007 and the war rages on...the need for whoa-oh-oh's has never been greater. The New Dress is proud to make their small contribution with their debut full length on Red Leader Records, "Where Our Failures Are," available this summer. They will be on tour to promote the record and support Red Leader sibling, Attica! Attica! So be sure to check out updated tour info.

The Hanson Brothers are a punk rock group led by John and Rob Wright and Tom Holliston, all members of the legendary Canadian punk rock band Nomeansno. They took their name from characters in the cult ice-hockey film Slap Shot. Heavily influenced by the music of the Ramones and the sport of ice hockey, the band appears to be a self-conscious attempt to construct a set of simplistic Canadian male personas and accordingly simple music that alludes to the sorts of deeper philosophical issues NoMeansNo is prone to tackling. The band's music is frequently referred to as "puck rock."

I Cento Passi (English: One Hundred Steps or The Hundred Steps) is an Italian film released in 2000, directed by Marco Tullio Giordana about the life of Giuseppe “Peppino” Impastato, a political activist who opposed the Mafia in Sicily. The story takes place in the small town of Cinisi in the province of Palermo, the home town of the Impastato family. One hundred steps was the number of steps it took to get from the Impastato house to the house of the Mafia boss Tano Badalamenti.
In the morning of October 10th 2008 Fyodor Filatov died in hospital from numerous knife wounds. At 7:30 AM he was attacked by four unknown persons armed with knifes, while leaving his home on his way to work. There are no doubts that the attack was well-planned. Russian Neo-Nazi scum always saw Fyodor as one of their arch enemies. His photos were published on a lot of Neo-Nazi websites along with death threats.
Fyodor Filatov was one of the founders and most active members of Moscow Troyan Skinheads – a community of Antiracist and Antifascist skinheads from Moscow and Moscow region. Nobody does as much as him for the development of Russian Antifascist skinhead movement.
