Black President is a punk rock supergroup based out of Los Angeles, California. The band is made up of Christian Black (Dee Dee Ramone Band, Strychnine Babies) on vocals, and Charlie Paulson (Goldfinger) on guitars, P.K. (Unwritten Law) on bass, and Ty Smith (Bullets and Octane, Guttermouth) on drums. Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks Bad Religion) recently left the band. [myspace]

Polar bear club - sometimes things just disappear (2008) [download]
supač! malo pocječa na zadnji propagandi...a lasefem svashta sere Polar Bear Club is an indie rock/hardcore band from Rochester and Syracuse, New York. A demo released in 2005 brought them much attention, and was simply a precursor to their first EP, "The Redder, the Better", released in Summer 2006 on Triple Attack and Luchador Records. The EP contained catchy, pop-punk songs with lots of of opportunities for energetic sing-a-longs, and was found to be a fan and zine favorite throughout the year.

nedamise izmisljat toplu vodu, evo kaj dechi vele o sebi: In May of 2006, Marathon ended just as we started three and a half years before: playing our best songs to our closest friends. The only difference was that, at the end, we had quite a few more friends singing along than we had at the beginning. Thank you to everyone for the best shows we've ever played, and the best time we've ever had.

The New Dress - Where Our Failures Are (2007) [download]

In 2004 The New Dress began writing songs that reflected their shared love for whoa-oh-ohs and a general concern for the state-of-things, inspired by socially conscious punk bands as well as folk artists. Playing with the bands they love (Dear Tonight, Nakatomi Plaza, The Measure, Against Me!, The Queers, Love or Perish-- to name a few) meant standing out a bit, and trying to appeal to punk rock and hardcore fans with a single guitar and a couple of voices.
Its 2007 and the war rages on...the need for whoa-oh-oh's has never been greater. The New Dress is proud to make their small contribution with their debut full length on Red Leader Records, "Where Our Failures Are," available this summer. They will be on tour to promote the record and support Red Leader sibling, Attica! Attica! So be sure to check out updated tour info.
