Black Star Brigade is a 4 piece, high energy punk band, with catchy hooks and sing-a-long choruses. Self proclaimed ' Texas Street Punk Rock 'N Roll ' they play a "go for the throat" style of street punk, that blends the angst of the working class with the (sometimes rowdy) commradery of your best drinking buddies. Their live shows are loud, fast and full of raw untamed energy. It is their live shows that make this band what they are. They are not a band who pointlessly rambles between songs, they just play. Which has pretty much been a summary of the band itself, 'don't talk about it, just do it'.

To date the only releases they have are a limited edition pressing of their 7 inch 'coming thru the airwaves' (limited 1000 copies clear & blue ) available through many online distros and they also have a new full length out called 'They Think They Can Knock Us Down' which they put out themselves, and are selling. And they have a song available on the AustinPunkRock compilation cd Vol.1 and Vol.2 (along side Dynamite Boy, Cruiserweight, Born To Lose, the Bulemics, Near Miss, Airtight Alibi , Natchet Taylor and many many more).
