This ballad closes out Live’s fifth studio album. This beautiful arrangement of piano, strings and voice is vividly haunting on its own. I always remember this as it was released as a single on September 11th, 2001. There were a lot of things happening that day in the Universal realm, almost as if to say “Here’s something to help you get by…” If I remember right there was a worship album released that day as well.

This song always brings a flooding well of emotion when I hear it… I love songs where you can hear and FEEL the emotion of the artist. This song quite certainly brings that out.
