Indie singer/songwriter Ingrid Mcihaelson called “Everybody”. Probably best known for her single “The way I am”, but some of her songs have also featured on TV shows such as Greys Anatomy, One Tree Hill and Scrubs.
Everybody is the eagerly awaited follow-up to her 2007 release, Girls and Boys which brought us the hit single “The Way I Am” and launched Ingrid into the mainstream music consciousness. The New York Times described Michaelson’s unique musical approach as “soulful, idiosyncratic,” while Rolling Stone loves her “sweet but mellow lounge-pop harmonies.” On Everybody Michaelson showcases a matured point of view as she explores a new relationship with the idea of love, one that’s less crushed-out girl and more self-realized, independent woman. “Everybody - which is about a big idea,” explains Paste Magazine, “chronicles a relationship so intense and volatile that both lovers lose themselves within it. Everybody is truly everybody’s.”
