Bloody Woods is a Chinese neofolk project started in early 2005 by Bai Shui (Eltan Renaxy). Late december 2005, Gu Dao joined joined the band as guest vocalist. August 2006, their song "Hidden Funeral" was featured on Love Rock magazine(the 54th edition) ,In the same month, the band self-released their first EP "Women In The Hole". they has finally completed the first (maybe the last, too) full-length album. More percussion bits are added into the new album plus more dark and obscure Middle-east musical elements that give you a ritualistic feeling. You can find out the influences from GOR and the likes but also BW comes with its own style. This is an absolutely fantastic piece of art and deserved to be owned!
