The Color Turning is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California
emotive and accessible, yet devoid of insincere saccharine. There is a
synergy that exists between these five who share, among so much more, a
voracious appetite for innovation, change, and growth. They are a band
willing to do anything to create sound, never for a moment sacrificing the
songs to inaccessible experimentation or noise for the sake of noise . With
an intense live show, The Color Turning have been known to use so many
instruments that they, at times, seem more like a small orchestra than a
standard rock five-piece. Their depth, ambience, and wide-ranging
instrumentation often aligns them with European bands rather than the
American pop punk current.
