ANGELS: Tempers flare in win over Royals

The Angels fell behind early - after which things got testy.

Albert Pujols had four hits and three RBIs because the Angels rallied from the seven-run deficit to defeat the Might Royalty 11-8 inside a spring training game Thursday.

Kendrys Morales, Mark Trumbo and Hank Conger hit back-to-back-to-back homers within the second inning off Royalty starter Everett Teaford, who was simply secured to some 7- lead. Teaford then hit Peter Bourjos using the first pitch, and also the two made an appearance to yell at one another as Bourjos visited first base.

Angels manager Mike Scioscia glared in direction of Royalty manager Ned Yost. A couple of pitches later, Scioscia left and also got into a disagreement with plate umpire Dana Demuth.

“Our guy was getting knocked around within the initial few innings and that we did not throw at anybody,” Scioscia stated. “That was uncalled for.”
