Today I ventured Inside a corpse Of a giant bird A beast so scarry As it was not of this world I looked through her eyes I entered her mind I sat there in silence I touched it and I gave her life With a horrid scream She greeted me An everlasting scream As she thanked me Calling to other birds Thundering by Under her wing She sheltered me My great bird And there I saw her bleeding From both her hips Other men came To observe her But she swallowed them And let none out As it thanked me Her wings around me Onto her wing I stood Looking at their faces As they wanted to get out Struggling but feutile "We cannot get out" Wound they tore Holes in her guts And ran outside Before my eyes Screams changed As she pled for life Her screaming ceased As fainted she has While the last of the men Jumped off her wings Before my eyes By sorrow eyes Tended to her I have Healed the wounds Like reborn she looked My beast so scarry As it is not of this world I looket through her eyes I entered her mind I sat there in silence I touched it but I could no more Give her life... |
