I am loving it. I have started out as a Dutch many times.
I have never played more then 4 hours straight without restarting--it is a quirck of pirates online.com brother pirates online.com I used to play D&D all the time, but he had a thing for killing us after level 8, rolling up chartacters was the best part for us.Anyways, I am thinking of actually playing till retirement.

I have never played the original, but from every fan I pirates online.com to, the feedback is it is VERY faithful to the 80s version.
Apparently it is one of the best remakes.I am now into prirates games.
I think pirates online.com get Port ROyal 2 today.
I wish I could talk to someone who has played both.
