An Upcoming E-Sports Event with Apex Legends

There are all kinds of awards for e-sports events, now a scholarship program has been added to that list. In an upcoming e-sports event with Apex Legends, Becker College offers top-players a chance at a scholarship with them. This includes a cash prize for schooling and a chance to join a gaming team. It's the worst kept secret in the world that Apex Legends is about to launch a new character alongside its first battle pass, or very close to it. That character should be none other than Octane, who has some sort of Stimpack move in his kit that echoes a skill we saw in Titanfall 2. But it appears he also has another ability, a deployable jump pad.

Though Apex Legends has been met with massive praise and success, with over 50 million players after just one month to prove it, fans are growing increasingly irritated that they don't have a specific season 1 launch date. Back in February Respawn Entertainment dropped a roadmap of their content over the months ahead, citing that season 1 would be incoming in March. Now at the beginning of the month many were upset by the lack of update or release of content, frustration which only seems to have increased after the Respawn CEO's latest response on the matter.

Becker College announced on Thursday it's partnering with Team Genji and Helix Esports to offer the nation's first Apex Legends esports scholarship program. Helix is holding North America's largest amateur tournament for the game in April. By competing there, high schoolers have a chance to receive a one-time $5,000 scholarship to the college. Team Genji will collect data during the competition using its advanced esports analytics platform. Our goal is to give top Apex Legends players a unique chance to combine their talents with an education, said Becker College Esports general manager Timothy Loew. As home to the first varsity esports program in Massachusetts and the first bachelor in esports management degree in the U.S., Becker is excited to shape the future of competitive gaming in partnership with two of esports'leading brands: Genji and Helix.

Apex Legends is doing very well for itself as the newest contender in the battle royale space, and now you can parlay those battlefield skills into a college education. In case you have almost any issues about where by in addition to the best way to work with Cheap Apex Coins, you possibly can email us on our own page. Becker College has announced a scholarship program tied to an upcoming esports event, which will allow top-performing players to receive $5,000 for schooling. Becker has partnered with Team Genji and Helix Esports for the program. Helix is hosting an Apex Legends amateur tournament in New Jersey in early April, and Team Genji will be on-site to perform analytics.

Those who score among the top players at the tournament can claim the one-time scholarship at Becker, if they apply and are admitted to the college. Eligible finalists will be invited to apply, so there will be no ambiguity whether or not you made the cut. Whether that's in sponsorship deals, fancy paid travel arrangements, or whatever else, publishers and influencers are in economic contact. It's still jarring, though, to learn just how much bank some influencers make promoting games.
