Land of Imagica Part 4 - "Angela"

Ghondar and Khazzam have just entered the Pegasus forest. The forest was quiet and peaceful, with sounds of birds singing and wind flowing. Khazzam took a moment to enjoy the breeze and sat down. Ghondar just looked around, amazed by the purity of the forest. "Hey... Khazzam... Do you think we'll actually see a Pegasus in this forest?" Ghondar was still turning around as he spoke. "It is possible..." Khazzam got up, slightly annoyed. "What are we doing here anyways?" Ghondar stopped looking around for the moment and focused on Khazzam's answer. "Well... This will be the beginning of our adventure. I've been reading about this Forest, and it says that there's an underground passage somewhere in this forest." Khazzam sat down again, since he wasn't gonna explain standing. "Passage? Passage to what?" Ghondar asked, slightly curious. Khazzam smirked like he was waiting for that question and answered "That's what we're here to find out!" Ghondar looked at him with an *are-you-serious?* look. Khazzam's smirk disappeared and was replaced by an *I'll-kick-your-ass* look. Ghondar gazes a gazely stare at Khazzam, but he gazes right back. Take that, Nietzsche! They stopped the stare war and Khazzam started explaining yet again. "Look... We are gonna become adventurers right?! Well this is it right here! This is our first adventure! We are to investigate the cave, since it is rumored to be the Path that connects Pegasus Forest with the Reom Ruins." Ghondar looked up and stared at Khazzam for five seconds then said in awe "The ruins that contained the first sign of Lucison Civilisation?" which made Khazzam nod for yes. "My fathers research was not complete, so I thought that we could complete it." Khazzam smiled and stood up. "Come... We need to get going." They both got up and started walking into the depths of the Forest. They were both amazed by the vastness of the forest and the breathtaking scenes. The forest really seemed to be like no other. "Wow... This is... Amazing." Ghondar said in awe. They were walking deeper and deeper into the Pegasus Forest and they got in for quite a surprise. Ghondar saw distant lights, lights of a village. "A... Village? Here?" Ghondar and Khazzam both stopped for a moment, trying to figure out what was they saw in the distance. They started to run towards it, hoping for a sign of a civilisation. They got closer to it and saw somewhat of a village, sorrounded by a wooden wall. "Listen... We don't know if they are friendly, so let's check it out a little." He pulled Ghondar down in the bushes and they got near to the village as close as they could. "Who are you, what are you doing here?" A voice came from behind Ghondar and Khazzam. "Shit..." Khazzam mumbled as he got up and turned around. He tried to speak, but saw an image that was not human. Both him and the other entity were shocked, but came to soon. "Oh, wow. We haven't seen your kind here for years. What brings you here, humans?" Asked the Elf Entity. "Uhh... We .. Are actually Adventurers." Khazzam said that since nothing else came on his mind. "Well you don't say... Come to the village then! I heard the greatest adventurer in Imagica was visiting it right now. We're having a festival right now!" The elf image said as he started running towards the village. Ghondar and Khazzam stood there wondering. "The... Greatest... Adventurer? In Imagica? God, we gotta see him!" Ghondar was getting excited and pulled Khazzam towards the village. They came to the entrance and the same Elf was waiting for them there. "Welcome to the village of the Pegasus Forest. We just call it Peganos. I just informed the chief, you're more than welcome. By the way, I didn't introduce myself. I am Estarriol." The elf seemed very friendly and he shaked hands with Ghondar and Khazzam. "Hey my name is Ghondar and this is my friend Khazzam. We come from a small village of Loure." Ghondar said as he looked around. "Oh welcome Adventurers. This is Village of Pegasus. Also called the Peagas. Follow me, the festival is this way." Ghondar and Khazzam started following Estarriol and saw many elf images that were pointing at them. Ghondar and Khazzam were not comfortable with this, but they didn't mind. They finally arrived at the festival scene. There was a huge crowd gathered in one place. Ghondar and Khazzam managed to get their way around and get to a visible place. "Wow Angela. You outdid yourself again!" The Chief was praising a Female Entity. Ghondar and Khazzam were asking themselves who that was but Estarriol told them that she was the adventurer they were talking about. "Her? But... She looks pretty young." Ghondar was curious but Estarriol just nodded. Leena had green hair with some tribal markings on it. She wasn't too tall, but stood her ground. She also looked human. "Oh, yes! The treasure of the Teandar. It was pretty dangerous too, for one moment I thought I was done for. There was this huge boulder tailing me with no way out, but I managed to avoid being hit." Angela was telling her tale to the folks while the crowd was cheering. After the celebration a huge feast was organised. "Eat! Let this feast be the biggest one yet!" A little farther from the crowd was Angela, sitting on a rock and was looking somewhat troubled. Ghondar was stuffing his face with food while Khazzam was staring at Angela. He was thinking *Is she really the greatest adventurer in Imagica? That girl? She looks a little older than me after all. Well, if they say so... I gotta go meet her.* Khazzam usually wasn't the guy for excitement, his personality was solid. The only time he smiled was when he was with Ghondar. He approached Angela without her noticing. He tapped her shoulder and she twitched a little. She stood up. "Oh I'm sorry... I was just thinking." She looked him in the face and twitched again. "You're human?" She put her hand on his cheek which made him blush a little. "That's a yes I think." She was smiling at the confused Khazzam. "Ahah... Oh I'm sorry. It's just... A human in this village? What's your name? How did you get here?" Khazzam stopped blushing. "I came with my friend Ghondar. It's a long story actually and my name is Khazzam." He pointed at Ghondar who was still eating. "Whoah... He's got quite an appetite huh?" Angela laughed a little. Khazzam motioned for her to follow and started walking towards Ghondar. Ghondar was completely unaware of approaching hazard. "Danger Will Robinson!Danger!" Said a villager who was sitting next to Ghondar and ran away. "Dude..." Ghondar had a bitter impression on his face. Suddenly, something hit him on the head. He turned away and had an even more bitter impression on his face. Khazzam was looking away shily as Angela put his arm on his shoulder. That bitter impression transformed into a maniacal laughter on the floor. "I hate you." Khazzam muttered and snapped. He threw himself on Ghondar and started choking him. Angela was laughing at this. "Oh you're such great friends." She continued laughing but Khazzam and Ghondar cooled down. "Uhh yeah... Hey Angela can you help us a little? We're trying to find a cave that is supposed to link this forest with the Reom Ruins." Khazzam asked Angela in kind of a quiet tone, which wasn't like him. Angela leaned her head left a little which made Khazzam blush a little. "Oh you're going to Reom Ruins? I was going there too actually. If you want we could go together. Now go sleep, you can't go there at night." They all talked for a little while more and then went to sleep.

Land of Imagica Part 3 - "Take Off"

What is your connection with darkness? [pics]

Your connection with darkness is because of your interest in magic. You like spells, herbs, maybe even voodoo-dolls. As this fascinates you, you probably own books with these themes, or found Internet-sites where magic is the topic. You probably mean no harm with this, well perhaps to some. Most people who are aware of your interest mistakes you for a Satan-worshipper. You're misunderstood, but have your friends. You probably are a wiccan or something related to it, and are interested in mother nature, souls and spirits. You prefer the forrest(or park) before the city. Remember, all can't always understand.

Negative aspects: One day all emotions are gonna surface again, and that day will be very painful. Instead it is more wise to start up the emotional level bit by bit, so it won't come as a big chock.

"Yaaaawn" Khazzam yawned and stretched as he got up. The morning just began to dawn. "Aye... A beautiful day it is." Khazzam was smiling for once, though it a rare sight. He checked upon Ghondar, noticing that his wounds weren't so critical anymore, letting him rest. "When he wakes up, he'll be as good as new." Khazzam used to talk to himself, he says he likes intelligent conversations. Nobody actually understood Khazzam, he was cold most of the time, but little things made him smile. Like the sight he was looking at right now. "The sunset is so beautiful today." Khazzam gazed at the sunset, but noticing that Ghondar was waking up, he just procceeded his cold act. "So... Took you long enough. You were really fucked up by that demon, if you could call him that." Khazzam was lecturing Ghondar which made him angry, but then he asked "If you could call him that?" Ghondar was wondering what he meant but then Khazzam said "Yes... He was human." Ghondar's eyes widened in shock, but soon cooled down. "We cannot know what it means... Probably the Curse. So Where to now?" Ghondar got up, dragging his armor. The armor wasn't heavy, it was made for light protection. Khazzam pointed at the lake and said "We should go there to Renew our water supplies and also we could fish." Khazzam was mostly a strategic person, thinking before acting, which suited his personality. They both started walking towards the lake, fighting in the way who will fish. Then it hit Ghondar. "Wait! How are we gonna fish without a rod?" He stopped in ignorance but Khazzam told him "We'll use the web I carry with me. Idiot." Khazzam for one loved insulting people, he simply enjoyed it, but Ghondar seemed not to hear those insults. They just carried on arguing about something else. They finally got to the lake and Khazzam already tossed a web into the water and renewed their water supplies. "We should be here for a while, atleast untill you fully heal." "I already told you... I'm fine." Ghondar tried to get up but was stopped by Khazzam "You're no use to me broken like Pinoccio. Just rest." Khazzam insisted on resting and walked to the lake. He was gazing at the reflection that water has done. He could see the mountains, the sky. All in water. Khazzam loved natural things, mainly water and sun. Trees meant little to him, since he couldn't understand why he should adore a toothpick with green hair. He used to watch the water flow and flow for hours, and since this water wasn't flowing he watched it stay anyways. Ghondar on the other hand didn't care much for water, sun or anything like that. He loved living things, like animals and trees. The web that was there for fishing started wiggling and Khazzam jumped in action. He pulled the web, but it seemed that the web was really heavy. "I think we got a big one!" Khazzam used all his strength to pull the fish out, and it was nearly as big as him. "Dude..." He was amazed by the fish's endurance but forgot about it as he started to grill him. "Ahh, the fish. Aye the fish." Khazzam was mumbling but got interrupted by Ghondar "Must you talk to yourself?" Khazzam just replied in a cold manner "I prefer intelligent conversations, which explains why I don't talk to you." Ghondar got ticked off a little and sarcastically said "You hurt me deeply and you know I mean it." Which made Khazzam laugh and reply "Good, I'm glad." Ghondar and Khazzam were best friends, and understood this only as joking. Hours passed and they were ready to continue. "Ok... Where to now?" Ghondar asked which made Khazzam point to the Pegasus Forest. "We should be fine there, only friendly creatures live there. However, If we get ambushed by an infernal creature we'll just demonstrate how hard it is to hit someone fleeing for their lives." Khazzam said laughing a little. "Hooray." Ghondar said filled with boredom hoping it'll be more fun once they get in the forest.
The Adventure has just begun.

Land of Imagica Part 2 - "Troubles"

Ghondar was still in his bed. He was awoken by a slight breeze coming from his open window. He stretched and yawned as he got up. He changed into his ordinary clothes and got to the kitchen. Miss Tilmarande was setting the table for breakfast. She smiled at him, but Ghondar saw something wrong in her smile. *Could... She know?* He quickly shook off the thought from his head and sat down. "Wow mom, this is delicious! The best I've had yet!" He was eating up quickly which made his Mother smile. "Oh you crack me up... I've been making this dish every day." She was enjoying herself, but a thought troubled her. Ghondar could see that something was wrong yesterday when he left. "Listen... Mom." Ghondar started speaking, but words barely got out. "I'm... Gonna become a great Adventurer like Dad." Ghondar looked up to his mother and got in for a surprise. "Yea... I know Kid. You are leaving today aren't you? Oh you kids grow up so fast... Well, it had to happen someday... You have your fathers blood. I still remember how I first met him. Well the only thing that's important for you is to take care of yourself? Got it Kid?" She got up and hugged Ghondar. He was shocked, but hugged her back. "I will take care mom... I will." Ghondar said as he got up and waved his Mother farewell. She was waving with proud spotted in her eyes. Ghondar spotted Khazzam waiting for him on the Main Square. He waved to him, but as a reply he got a slight smirk. Typical for Khazzam. He waved to him, and they both headed towards the Armory, without saying a word. "So... How'd it go with your family?" Ghondar asked Khazzam of sheer curiosity. "Oh? Nothing really, I left a message." Khazzam seemed emotionally unaffected by that question and replied in a cold manner. "You bastard." Ghondar said as they entered the Armory. The Blacksmith looked at them and started walking into the back of the Shop. He got back with 2 Breastplates and Legplates. "Is this what you wanted?" The Blacksmith smiled a little, but tried to cover it. "This will do, thank you Sir." Ghondar said and then looked at Khazzam which seemed to be examining the armor. The Blacksmith leaned his head low for a second, then said "That will be 50 Gold Coins." Ghondar handed him a bag with Gold Coins in it and took the armor, as did Khazzam. They both walked out of the store without saying Goodbye. They started walking towards the village exit into the Dead Woods. The Dead Woods were a passageway into the Valley of Voices, and were also accompanied by bloodthirsty demons that have seen no light in thousands of years. The only thing that was binding them to the forest was the Curse of The Dead. Ghondar and Khazzam got out of the village in slow footsteps and stopped before the entrance into the Woods. "Ok...? This seems stupid enough." Ghondar said as he was gazing into the pure darkness that was engulfing the forest, and the path that was ending in neverending darkness. "What is stupid? The fact that two idiotic teenagers are about to enter a fucking forest accompanied by dead bastards?" Khazzam said as cold as ever. "To be blunt, yes." Ghondar agreed on this one, as amazed as he was. They put on their armors, prepared for anything. The fact that the forest was still dark, even though it was morning sounded like bad news for them. They were having second thoughts, but Khazzam just started walking forward. "Hey wait you idiot! We're not even sure what it is in the forest!" Ghondar started shouting but it didn't seem to affect Khazzam. He started following Khazzam and looking around. Moments later they couldn't see the entrance anymore. Nor the exit, for that matter. Khazzam was somewhat scared, but not as nearly as Ghondar. He was shivering and thinking of the worst possible things that could happen to them. Khazzam was amazed by the dark vastness of the forest, but concentrated on the road ahead. It was dark, but the path emited a weird light that seemed to keep travellers on the road. Suddenly, a noise came from within the forest. Khazzam and Ghondar jumped back in surprise, and drawed out their swords. They heard multiple noises from behind and front. Khazzam had a hard time telling from where the noises came from. Suddenly something pulled Ghondar into the woods. Khazzam started running towards Ghondar and shouting, but he seemed to be too slow. Ghondar was pulled with a powerful force. Suddenly, he stopped, as he knocked himself into a nearby tree. The blood was dripping from his mouths and he took a moment to look around. He saw a corpse, half chewed hanging from a tree which made him even more afraid. He heard a noise behind him, the noise of the creature that pulled him. He was immobilised, due to his injuries. He heard immense screaming coming from behind. The screaming was becoming louder and louder as the creature was moving closer and closer. The creature seemed to stop, and then fall on the floor dead. "Booya!" Khazzam yelled as he cut off the creature's head and kicked it far away. He got Ghondar on his back and started running towards a direction that seemed to be the exit, atleast on the base of his instincts. Ghondar whinced in pain, but Khazzam ran as fast as ever. "Sorry, pal, we gotta get out of this wretched forest for good!" Khazzam was trying to be gentle, but Ghondar's injuries were serious. A single movement made him whince in pain, not to mention the running and the comotion it was causing. He saw a light, coming from the sky. "Finally! The exit!" He started running faster. They finally got out of the forest safe, but Khazzam still needed to treat Ghondar's wounds. He set up a campfire and something that seemed like a tent. Ghondar fell asleep, due to the pain. Khazzam took a swift look around and noticed that they were in fact located in the Valley of Voices. He smirked for a second and took a quick look around. Around the place that they were located, there was a shrine, a forest and a lake. The forest was called the Pegasus Forest. He thought It'd be better to camp by the lake, but Ghondar was far too injured to be moved again. It started to rain and Khazzam used the Adventure Kit to make a tent. "That's why I never leave home without it..." He took off Ghondar's and his breastplate and legplate and lied down to sleep. "Good Night my friend."
