In these postwar elections, the party, always supported by the Grand Army of the Republic , denounced all Democrats as former Copperheads and claimed to have alone saved the Union.

If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.
The great thing about a computer notebook is that no matter how much you stuff into it, it doesn't get bigger or heavier.
