An Evening with Midian's Finest Mitz and I harassing some MPD. Had good fun with this scene :) [6:44] Ashur Kentoku walks up to Jazon and pokes him in the chest with a claw...` I hear ya been messing with my Mitzy here!` she mews, grinning. `Seems you accuse her of blowing up the MPD. Is that right?` [6:45] Jazon Checchinato nods "Indeed I have, because it's true..." [6:45] Ashur Kentoku snorts...`So wheres your evidence, mm?` [6:45] Mitz Xi walks up too as she looks at his tail..."Yeah he come in to TZ and hit on me... like a dog in heat" [6:46] Jazon Checchinato turns some so his tail is out of view "My evidence is the chief nearly being killed, and her behavior when we brought her in for holding" [6:47] Ashur Kentoku laughs....`Typical MPD response. I should have expected no less. Pathetic. Well, shes here. So why not arrest her?` [6:47] Ashur Kentoku tilts her head, eyebrow raised... [6:47] You: `Well? If you`re SO RIGHT, why not arrest her?` [6:47] Jazon Checchinato shrugs "Because I ain't as stupid as many people think I am, for one.. I'm out numbered" [6:47] Ashur Kentoku laughs again... [6:48] You: `Aww.....` she mews. `But Iz jus a liddle girl! Surely I cant hurt ya!` [6:48] Mitz Xi: "Lets see... I walked into the station.. on my own.. with no cuffs on... and your bitch chief swings a baton at me? Is that how you question people nowadays.. then maybe I should be beating the shit out of you now" [6:49] You: `They thugs, Mitz. Its an MPD thing...` [6:49] Jazon Checchinato looks to Ashur "Once more.. do you really think I'm stupid?" [6:49] Ashur Kentoku looks back at Jazon...`Actually yes, I do.` [6:49] Mitz Xi: Oh... so MPD is not real cops [6:49] You: `Cos your so-called evidence is a joke, and so are you.` [6:49] Jazon Checchinato shrugs "Don't see why ya do... I seem to recall helping your family when you were a Commander in the Catwalker pride.." [6:50] Mitz Xi: "Ooooo he didn't just go there!" [6:50] You: `What would you know about me? I never seen you around until recently` [6:51] Jazon Checchinato blinks "I was the one who helped your family find out who murdered Chisaki.." [6:51] Mitz Xi: Chi Chi? [6:52] Ashur Kentoku makes a face...`Well good for you. Is that supposed to vindicate you?` [6:52] You: `And the whole MPD is a joke actually. I dont think Ive ever seen them complete a police action successfully in the years Ive been here.` [6:53] Mitz Xi: Wait.. I know what we will do... how about.. we lock this officer into a a tiny room.. with three of us.. and see how long he lasts... [6:53] Jazon Checchinato quirks an eyebrow "Three of you?" [6:53] Ashur Kentoku grins...`Well, I already know the answer to that...but its an entertaining thought...` [6:54] Mitz Xi: you have no idea who you are fucking with... and with Chang comes... .... [6:54] Artika Muliaina stops and stares at the amazing cafe-on-wheels that has appeared by the taxistand. [6:54] Mitz Xi shivers at the thought of Chang [6:55] Ashur Kentoku blinks at Mitz words, looking uncomfortable at the mention of Chang, the name she hasnt heard for so long... [6:55] Jazon Checchinato narrows his eyes and stares at Mitz "You honestly think a wannabe cat can intimidate me? I've dealt with people twice your size, been smacked around by a biomech, curbstomped by the fookin' Warden..." [6:56] Mitz Xi: You think that impresses me? I fought a bio-mech war machine for six hours... I held my own against that wWrden.. have I fought two others before him... and you are a wannabe cop [6:57] Mitz Xi: run about whimpering like a dog... writing tickets... that is all you are good for [6:57] Ashur Kentoku sighs...`See? I was right Jazon...you ARE dumb! Thinking you can dismiss Mitz like that!?` [6:57] Jazon Checchinato laughs "I actualy think another thing I was quite good with was putting bullets in you as you were being carried off" [6:58] Mitz Xi smiles as she clenchs her tiny fists... her eyes narrow on Jazon... [6:59] Mitz Xi: "You don't want to see me pissed off... six one three will not stop until you are not breathing" [6:59] Ashur Kentoku recognizes Mitz`s behaviour and relaxes subtly as she watches.... [7:00] Artika Muliaina half listens to Mitz and Ashur and Jazon as she walks to the entrance as if drawn there... she isnt really hungry, and not for anything the cafe would sell anyway, but it would just be... cool to sit in the back, she thinks, stepping up to the ramp with a smirk. "Hello," she says to Zoe, stepping on. "This is your cafe, yes?" [7:00] Zoe Calvert: "Tat's right! Pleased to met you" [7:01] Jazon Checchinato shrug again "Righto... now.. how about them Packers?" he smirks, not realy in a mood to prove why he's ben entrusted with as many opperations as he has been [7:03] Artika Muliaina looks arou Free Full Game Downloads Free Full Game Downloads See also: medicine wheel national historic landmark custom deep dish wheels grand junction fifth wheel razor go kart wheels john deere wheel weights 8mm wheel spacers automotive steel wheels hot wheels store |

CAR WHEEL SIZE CHART. SURFACE GRINDING WHEEL SELECTION. Car Wheel Size Chart
Entry No. 7 : Time Attack Since 2006, I've been driving on tight B roads, usually BT and Genting but occasionally Ulu Yam or Semenyih. They're quite safe by Malaysian standards and relatively traffic free so it offers enough space to get up to speed and practice car control. Admittedly getting this wrong can result in pain and damage, but I've never pushed my abilities (or car) beyond physical limits (well, I don't anyway, I can't speak for all of us). I don't overtake on blind corners etc, so there's no annoyance or danger to other road users. Another reason I do this is because it reveals how well a car handles. Car handling can vary greatly. Front wheel drives, rear wheel drives, four wheel drives, hatchbacks, sedans, coupes, heavy and light cars... they all have different driving characteristics and different limits of grip. There's no point pushing a car hard on a highway if all it will show is straight line speed an acceleration. That's not a basis for comparison. In the last few months, we've started timing and taking videos of each run in order to chart progression. Admittedly it's not very scientific; some are done in the wet, some in the dry, some during the day and some at night, almost never with the same car so it is hard to do a direct comparison. I suppose aiming for a target is the most we can do in terms of seeing how far we've come. However, at times it's impossible to get a clean time because of traffic... but some things can't be helped. The target for BT's downhill tends to stand at 5 minutes and uphill stands at 5:15. I've actually beaten these times before, but without a proper reading from a GPS, it's hard to prove I ever did... That and the fact that some fool got in my way on the way down (that run really opened my eyes up to how amazing quattro was). It was mostly self satisfaction. Anyway, my latest (clean) run uphill yielded a: Time of : 5:00 Average speed of : 86 km/h Top speed of 143 km/h and my latest (messy) downhill run had a: Time of 5:08 Average speed of 84 km/h Top speed of 152 km/h ... which doesn't really make sense considering the downhill should be faster. Well, the uphill was done in an A5 and the downhill was done in a 535i with a slow Sentra in the way... I figure without the Sentra blocking me, I could have pulled a sub 5 minute time. The weekend's here once again! Have fun people. As for the picture, view it in large size and look at the rear window. Victorian steampunk bicycle necklace Penny Farthing retro butterfly punk resin Whiskey Darling Length: 11" Width of pendant: 2.25" Circumference of neck: 18" Poured resin, in a beautiful ruffled square shape. Adorned with swarovsk crystals and a vintage butterfly embellishment. Whenever I look at this necklace, I automatically think of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons as well as get the Queen song "Bicycle" in my head.... This type of bike is called a Penny-Farthing. It is called this because the wheels resemble the British penny and farthing placed side by side. To me, this design seems silly, not to mention dangerous. But, it turns out it does have it's merits: First off, the larger wheel actually allows for greater speed than its same-sized predecessor; at least for Victorian standards. Second, the large front wheel provided for more stability on uneven surfaces, say a cobble stone road...which was the majority of roads in the late 1890's. Despite these "advantages," the Penny-Farthing was also very dangerous, notoriously known for its riders taking "headers" when stopping suddenly or going down a hill. Thus, the Penny-Farthing's popularity was relatively short-lived. I still like the image of the bike, though. I also enjoy picturing Montgomery Burns riding the bike, while a Queen soundtrack plays in my head:) See also: high performance wheels gooseneck vs fifth wheel hot wheels slot cars steering wheel emblems wheel weights suppliers used wheels chicago mag wheel designs robin 5th wheel hitch toy cars hot wheels |

DeHavilland DHC-3 Flight 1953 DHC-3 Alaska Coastal Airways The history of this plane below was copied from "www.dhc30tter.com" "Otter number 7 was the first Otter delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), on 28th March 1953 with serial 3661. Before formal handover, while the Otter was still at Downsview, code letters AB were painted on the fuselage side, so that the side markings were presented as AB (roundel) 661 and in this guise a number of photographs were taken for publicity purposes. The letters AB were to give the Otter a “military look” and were not the code letters of any RCAF unit then intended to operate the Otter. The official user of the code AB at that time was 401 Squadron, which then flew Harvards and Vampires. One of the publicity photographs of 3661 is captioned “The first commissioned Otter flies over Downsview Airport on 13th March 1953. On this day a simulated SAR operation was conducted by members of the Trenton Para Rescue Section to show the new aircraft to the media”. RCAF Otters 3662, 3663, 3664, 3665 and 3666 were similarly painted with a spurious AB code for publicity purposes before delivery. After Otter 3661 had been formally delivered by DHC to the RCAF on 28th March '53, it was allocated that month to the Central Experimental & Proving Establishment (CEPE) at Rockcliffe, Ottawa for the purposes of evaluation of this new type of aircraft to enter RCAF service. It then went to the Fort Churchill, Manitoba Station Flight, where its arrival is recorded on 4th July 1953. It entered service with the Flight alongside Norseman 789. The diary of the Churchill Station Flight records the many missions undertaken by 3661. It operated on floats during the summer months from Landing Lake at Churchill. On 14th August '53 it operated a medevac to Baker Lake and on 20th August was in the Duck Lake and Neultin Lake areas searching for a lost trapper. Later that month it was involved in the search for 405 Squadron Lancaster 999 which had crashed, and performed a coast crawl from York Factory to Eskimo Point. When the Lancaster was found, its crew of 8 were picked up by the Otter from the lake where it had ditched and were flown to Churchill. On 31st August '53 both Norseman 789 and Otter 3661 flew to Ennadai Lake with rations. On 6th October '53 the Otter made its last float trip to Knife Lake and on 8th October was removed from Landing Lake and re-configured with wheel-skis. For the winter months, it would operate from the airport at Churchill, continuing with its light transport and SAR taskings. On 2nd January 1954 it was involved in the search for the Flight's own Norseman 789 which went missing on a medevac flight from Fort Churchill to Baker Lake, a flight of three hours fifteen minutes. Six RCAF Dakotas were also involved in the search for the missing Norseman, two each from Winnipeg, Rivers and Edmonton, as well as Arctic Wings Avro Anson CF-GLA. When the Norseman was found on a small lake at 62.46 North 96.06 West, one of the Dakotas orbited the scene until the evacuation of the Norseman crew and passengers was carried out by Otter 3661 on 5th January. On 15th February 1954 the Otter flew from Churchill to the scene of the Norseman forced landing with a repair party, but its tail assembly broke on landing on the rough terrain. When it became overdue, Dakota 971 from Winnipeg took off to fly to the area, but due to ice fog had to return to Churchill without finding the Otter. It departed again early the next morning and sighted the downed Otter beside the Norseman. The two aircraft had to remain where they were until 20th February '54, when the Arctic Wings Anson flew in with replacement crews, and both the Otter and the Norseman flew back to Churchill. The following month, the Otter was re-assigned and took off from Churchill on 19th March '54 en-route to Ottawa, being replaced at Churchill by Otter 3672. On arrival at RCAF Station Rockcliffe, Ottawa 3661 entered service with 408 Squadron, adopting its MN code. Although based at Rockcliffe, the squadron spent much of its time deployed away from base, having been assigned the major task of mapping and surveying large tracts of the Canadian North. During the summer of 1954, four of the Squadron's Lancasters flew out of Goose Bay, Labrador on the mapping project, supported by six of the Squadron's Cansos and six Otters, including 3661. At the end of the summer season, 3661 and the other Otters returned to base at Rockcliffe for the winter, where they were engaged on local area flying and training. Another major task entrusted to 408 Squadron was support of the construction of the Mid Canada Line (MCL) of radar sites along the 55th parallel of latitude, all 102 of them. In 1954 the RCAF launched a helicopter operation for the MCL with the formation of 108 Communications Flight which, with its H-19, H-21 and H-34 helicopters would carry men, supplies and equipment to the numerous isolated sites. On 18th June 1955 Otter 3661 i Socata TB-20 Trinidad G-PTRE Socata TB20 Trinidad This article describes the author's experience, since 2002, of operation of the Socata TB20GT aircraft. It was also written to help answer frequent questions asked by prospective TB20 buyers about type conversion issues, general operation, costs, and things to look out for. PPL Training This is just a brief bit of history to put things in perspective. I started PPL training in 2000. The objective was to learn to fly so I could travel to far away places around Europe, and to see Europe from the air. The PPL training scene at my local airport was somewhat behind the times... The first training plane was the PA38 Tomahawk which is a type most charitably described as an "exciting" plane to fly, but its condition was something else. The plastic had come off the yoke (the control column) many years before and one was holding bare metal rusted through years of students' sweat. After a rainy night there would be a puddle of water on the floor and the plane smelt like an old-style public telephone kiosk. During preflight fuel drain tests following a rainy night, it was not unusual to drain out several test beakers full of water before the fuel would start to come out - presumably due to perished filler cap seals. After about 20hrs of lessons, I left this school due to this and other less mentionable maintenance issues. The next school operated Cessna 152s, in which I finished the UK/JAA PPL in May 2001. These were decrepit too but quite pleasant to fly and very easy to land due to ground effect being nearly absent. The first thing which became obvious during PPL training was that the entire scene was very far removed from the reason I was learning to fly. Even if the training planes had been functionally capable of going somewhere "serious" (which they weren't, due to range) convincing passengers to come along would be a challenge. They were not unsafe in the sense that the wings would not fall off but their condition was poor at best and only hardened anoraks would want to travel in them regularly. More technically, the range of a Cessna 152 or a PA28-161 means that a flight from the UK to e.g. Prague would involve one or two fuel stops which makes it a gruelling all-day exercise - in each direction! Topping off a plane is not like dropping into a petrol station; in Europe one normally has to clear Customs even just for an airside-only fuel stop, so landings are generally to be avoided unless one actually wants to do something there. It also became obvious, after the 2nd or 3rd cancelled lesson, that flying would be all but useless without an instrument capability. During one Oct-Dec period I booked every day to fly (i.e. 90 lessons) and due to rain and low cloud I got just 3 lessons in! Unfortunately nothing available for rental was suitable for "real" instrument flight. For instrument training, we used one plane (with a working VOR but a duff ADF) for VOR work, and another plane (with a duff VOR, duff DME, but a working ADF) for NDB work. Therefore, I started looking around for planes to "get into long-term" (in a syndicate, or to buy outright) very soon after starting PPL training. This annoyed the various instructors, most of whom were ATPL hour builders who had never flown past the nearest crease in their charts and who knew next to nothing about different aircraft types. Naturally they preferred me to carry on renting what they had on offer - self fly hire is an important source of income to a flying school. Aircraft Choice This was done largely through a process of elimination of everything I did not want. After the PPL which took 66 hours, I converted to and rented PA28-160s and -180s in which I accumulated about 50 hours on various local flights, while looking around at various options. By this time, the requirements had been refined: - no high wing (cannot see properly when doing steep turns) - no single door (hard to get in/out, and difficult emergency escape - I had one of the two PA28 door locks jam once and that was enough) - a modern design with 2 doors which is easy for everybody to get in and out of - IFR avionics including a large screen GPS which is good for both VFR and IFR - suitable for both hard runways and grass, 500m tarmac or 750m grass - long range, suitable for the 400-600nm legs (with reserves for another 200+nm) typical in European touring - actual aircraft less than 15 years old (aluminium airframes tend to need significant airframe parts after this point) - an RMI with ADF and VOR needles (NDB approaches are a feature of European IFR and are not going to go away anytime soon) - 130kt+ cruise No suitable syndicates were found. The nearest I got to was a share in a Socata TB10, but it was quickly established that some of the IFR avionics were not functioning and the VFR-only members were unwilling to pay their share of fixing them; this turned out to be a common scen See also: eclat bmx wheels fixed gear mag wheels cruiser skateboard wheels toy hauler 5th wheel 18 wheels of steel truck mod hot wheels battle force five toys second hand mag wheels melbourne battery power wheels |

Corrugated fiberboard Corrugated fiberboard Corrugated fiberboard is a paper-based material consisting of a fluted corrugated sheet and one or two flat linerboards. It is widely used in the manufacture of corrugated boxes and shipping containers. The corrugated medium and linerboard are made of containerboard, a paper-like material usually over 0.01 inches (0.25 mm) thick. Paperboard and corrugated fiberboard are sometimes called cardboard, although cardboard might be any heavy paper-pulp based board. History In the mid-19th century, an ingenious concept enabled flimsy sheets of paper to be transformed into a rigid, stackable and cushioning form of packaging for delicate goods in transit Corrugated (also called pleated) paper was patented in England in 1856, and used as a liner for tall hats, but corrugated boxboard was not patented and used as a shipping material until December 20, 1871. The patent was issued to Albert Jones of New York City for single-sided (single-face) corrugated board. Jones used the corrugated board for wrapping bottles and glass lantern chimneys. The first machine for producing large quantities of corrugated board was built in 1874 by G. Smyth, and in the same year Oliver Long improved upon Jones' design by inventing corrugated board with liner sheets on both sides. This was corrugated board as we know it today. The Scottish-born Robert Gair invented the pre-cut paperboard box in 1890 – flat pieces manufactured in bulk that folded into boxes. Gair's invention came about as a result of an accident: he was a Brooklyn printer and paper-bag maker during the 1870s, and one day, while he was printing an order of seed bags, a metal ruler normally used to crease bags shifted in position and cut them. Gair discovered that by cutting and creasing in one operation he could make prefabricated paperboard boxes. Applying this idea to corrugated boxboard was a straightforward development when the material became available in the early twentieth century. The corrugated box was initially used for packaging glass and pottery containers. Later, the case enabled fruit and produce to be brought from the farm to the retailer without bruising, improving the return to the producers and opening up export markets. Manufacture of corrugated board Corrugated board is manufactured on large high-precision machinery lines called corrugators, usually running at about 500 feet per minute (2.5 m/s) or more. These machines over time have become very complex with the objective of avoiding some common problems in corrugated board production, such as warp and washboarding. The manufacturing process begins with pulping, the separation of wood (hardwood and sapwood) into individual fibers, as accomplished by mechanical methods or chemical treatment. In the classical corrugator, the paper is softened with high-pressure steam. After the board is formed it is dried in the so-called dry-end. Here the newly formed corrugated board is heated from the bottom by hot plates. On the top, various pressures are applied by a load system on the belt. The corrugated medium is often 0.026 pounds per square foot (0.13 kg/m²) basis weight in the U.S.; in the UK, a 90 grams per square metre (0.018 lb/sq ft) fluting paper is common. At the single-facer, it is heated, moistened, and formed into a fluted pattern on geared wheels. This is joined to a flat linerboard with a starch based adhesive to form single face board. At the double-backer, a second flat linerboard is adhered to the other side of the fluted medium to form single wall corrugated board. Linerboards are test liners (recycled paper) or kraft paperboard (of various grades). The liner may be bleached white, mottled white, colored, or preprinted. Common flute sizes are "A", "B", "C", "E" and "F" or microflute. The letter designation relates to the order that the flutes were invented, not the relative sizes. Flute size refers to the number of flutes per lineal foot, although the actual flute dimensions for different corrugator manufacuturers may vary slightly. Measuring the number of flutes per lineal foot is a more reliable method of identifying flute size than measuring board thickness, which can vary due to manufacturing conditions. The most common flute size in corrugated boxes is "C" flute. Corrugated fiberboard can be specified by the construction (single face, singlewall, doublewall, etc), flute size, burst strength, edge crush strength, flat crush, basis weights of components (pounds per thousand square feet, grams per square meter, etc), surface treatments and coatings, etc. TAPPI and ASTM test methods for these are standardized. The choice of corrugated medium, flute size, combining adhesive, and linerboards can be varied to engineer a corrugated board with specific properties to match a wide variety of potential uses. Double and triple-wall corrugated board is also produced for high stacking strength and puncture resista Non identical twins. Broadly similar to the ex North Western VDB AEC Reliances in the last two postings were PMT's XVTs from the same year (1963). This 1976 shot shows 942 on the layover park at Hanley bus station. The bus along side it is an almost visually identical Leyland Leopard, 952 XVT. The previous years deliveries had also seen the orders split similarly with ten from each manufacturer, before returning to AEC only for the 1964s... one of which's rear end with the new wrap round rear screens just creeps into shot. The AEC's were distinguishable from the Leylands by their higher driving position, kidney bean shaped instrument binnacle and engine air intake vents behind the O/S front wheel. The Leopard's air intake was invisible and sat alongside the radiator under the driver's cab. Whilst the Leylands were undoubtedly reliable plodders, they lacked the nimble abilities of the AEC, PMT drivers of the era relate their dread of being rostered one because of the heavy controls. This scene today has changed somewhat, further departure stands now occupy this spot, the old Good Year Tyre depot, Discount Centre by this time, was demolished many years ago and a frozen food shop now occupies the site. #142: spin So dawg, listen, it's like this. Oh, wait. I'm channeling Randy from American Idol. (At least it's not either of the other two.) So, yo. I've been sick a whole week, and I am big as a whale. But I'm in a remarkably good mood. Things just seem to be clicking into place right now. My mother (and other superstitious Jews I know) will be waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the shoe always drops. But right now, my wheels are spinning with ideas and projects and stuff I need to finish. I am having a hard time with focus in general, but it seems that these are the times I always do my best thinking. So, yo, dawg, listen, Randy would say to me. "You're about 30 pounds overweight, but, other than that, you could win this thing!" Like a circle in a spiral, a wheel within a wheel.... Never ending on beginning, On an ever-spinning reel Like a snowball down a mountain, Or a carnival balloon Like a carousel that's turning Running rings around the moon Like a clock whose hands are sweeping Past the minutes on its face And the world is like an apple Spinning silently in space Like the circles that you find In the windmills of your mind! Vincent Line-up - National Motorcycle Museum 1954 Comet : 1933 Python : 1936 Rapide : 1949 Black Shadow Vincent Motorcycles, "the makers of the world's fastest Motorcycles", began with the purchase of HRD Motorcycles, less the factory premises, by Phil Vincent in 1928. HRD was founded by the British Royal Flying Corps (RFC) pilot, Howard Raymond Davies, who was shot down and captured by the Germans in 1917. Legend has it that it was while a prisoner of war that he conceived the idea of building his own motorcycle, and contemplated how he might achieve that. It was not until 1924 that Davies entered into partnership with E J Massey, trading as HRD Motors. Various models were produced, generally powered by JAP (JA Prestwich Industries) engine Unfortunately, though HRD Motorcycles won races, the company ran at a loss, and in January 1928 it went into voluntary liquidation. The company was initially bought by Ernest Humphries of OK-Supreme Motors for the factory space, and the HRD name, jigs, tools, patterns, and remaining components were subsequently offered for sale again. Philip Vincent was advised to start production under an established name. He had built a motorcycle of his own in 1924, and in 1928 had registered a patent for a cantilever rear suspension of his own design. In 1928 Philip Vincent left Cambridge University with an engineering degree and, with the backing of his family wealth from cattle ranching in Argentina, acquired the trademark, goodwill and remaining components of HRD from Humphries for 450. The company was promptly renamed Vincent HRD Co., Ltd and production moved to Stevenage. The new trademark had "Vincent" in very small letters above "HRD" written large. After World War 2 Britain had an export drive to repay its war debts, and the USA was the largest market for motorcycles, so in 1949 the HRD was dropped from the name to avoid any confusion with the "HD" of Harley Davidson, and the motorcycle became The Vincent. In 1929 the first Vincent-HRD motorcycle used a JAP single-cylinder engine in a Vincent-designed cantilever frame. The earliest known example extant exists in Canberra, Australia. Some early bikes used Rudge-Python engines. But after a disastrous 1934 Isle of Man TT, with engine problems and all three entries failing to finish, Phil Vincent (with Phil Irving) decided to build their own engines. Phil Vincent also experimented with three wheeled Vehicles, amphibious vehicles, and automobiles. In 1932 the first 3-wheeler, "The Vincent Bantam" appeared, powered by a 293 cc SV JAP or 250 cc Villiers engine. It was a 2.5 cwt delivery van with a car seat and a steering wheel. The Bantam cost 57-10-0 and the windscreen and hood option cost 5-10-0. Production ceased in 1936. Shoe Cycle This three-wheeled shoe motorcycle was parked on Union Square in Manhattan. The intention of this motortrike was to advertise Marshalls, a discount department store chain, which, among other things, sells . . . shoes. :-) And the Marshalls truck in the background brought plenty of them to sell, as you can see on the racks behind the motortrike.
