The Dryden Theatre is having an 80s Film Festival this weekend, showing such classics as Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo and Valley Girl (featuring a very young Nicolas Cage true 80s chick Deborah Foreman). Now, I love 80s films and have a fairly nice DVD collection of them, most of which were purchased for $2 a piece from a DVD dump in Kmart. Most people, other than my dear husband of course, cant understand how I can watch these awful moves. And some of them really are awful. But Im thinking everyone has guilty viewing pleasures. Here are maxwell caulfield of mine&what are yours?

1. Spice World - totally cheesy, but also remarkably funny. It helps that Meatloaf is the bus driver.
2. Gone in 60 Seconds - Nic Cage and Angelina Jolie maxwell caulfield cars for a bloodthirsty British guy who carves coffins by hand.
3. Big Trouble in Little China - Kurt Russell and Kim Cattrall take on an ancient Chinese sorceror. Three Storms totally rock!
4. Hocus Pocus - Truly one of my all-time favorites! Bette Midler chews up the scenery as Winifred Sanderson. Liz has loved this movie forever, too. She was Winnie for Halloween one year, and went around telling everyone Ill have your guts for garters, girl!
5. Strange Brew - Bob & Doug MacKenzie infiltrate evil doings in a beer factory. What could be better?
6. Uncle Buck - Ive never liked John Candy, except in this movie. Also features a pre-Home Alone MacAuley Culkin.
7. Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys Mysteries - Seasons1 and 2 are on DVD! We have Nancy-Frank-Joe marathons on rainy afternoons in my house.
8. The Legend of Billie Jean - Young girl cuts her hair and goes on the run from a guy who refuses to pay for a scooter his son destroyed. Fair is Fair.
9. Legend - Tom Cruise and Mia Sara dance with the devil in a world gone terribly wrong. Tim Curry kicks butt as the Devil.
10. Mystery Men - Ben Stillers odd movie about hapless superheroes. Janine Garafolo as The Bowler is completely hysterical.
