BMW D-CAN Interface for GT1 + INPA Software Installation
GT1 + INPA d-can interface works with software for BMW GT1 and INPA including all the functions as GT1 and INPA do. Due to greebid.com customers confuse about the software setup steps, i'd like to sum it up and share with you in this post on how to install d-can interface bmw gt1 inpa software smoothly.
d-can interface for gt1 and inpa software installation instructions:
1. Install diaghead.exe
2. Vmware-player-2.5.0-118166_pconline
3. Copy inpa all file to c:.
4. Copy gt1 software to c:. And unzip it.
5. Edit system path, add
6. Connect usb cable and instal ftdi drivers.
7. Install d-can usb device(usb2.0 ftdi driver.rar)
8. Record your com port number (number.jpg)
9. Setup "latensy timer = 1" (l_timer.jpg)
10. Set c:ediabashardwareobdobd.ini port=comx (your usb-com port number)
11. Run c:ediabashardwareobdobdsetup.exe
12. Restart windows
13. Change main network adapter ip to 192.168.68.1,please don’t change vmware network adapter ip
14. Change to c:ediabasbinediabas.ini port= 6801, if needed.
gt1 inpa d-can interface software operation notice:
1.gt1 error - "Is the battery voltage OK?"
In this case, customers must first switch on ignitioln (terminal 15), then connect diagnostic connector to start testing. If the battery voltage is not enough, it may result in a temporary voltage short supply, and the equipment screen show abnormally so that the equipment is also easily broken. If customers are operating properly, then change another car to try on for the car's battery voltage is not ok so as to the screen can not be displayed normally.
2.inpa error - "Compile error script file!" (ignition is on but INPA won't detect it)
Firstly, make sure install the software on the computer with Windows XP system; Secondly, ensure to close the Anti-virus software on your computer. Because the Anti-virus may recognise it as a type of virus, will clear off all the software on dvd.
