Create Two Characters for Free in Neverwinter
Neverwinter tosses you right into playing through a small but fun story which helps to teach you all of the commands you will need to play the game. In the tradition of many other MMO's out there, which I think now is an industry joke, you wake up shipwrecked on the beach. You have to make your way through to the city learning as you go. In fact the game is very intuitive throughout your progression to assist you in learning new powers, abilities, and options as you go. However, the in-game help in Neverwinter is lacking. As great as this game is, there are a couple of issues that should be addressed. First, meeting up with a friend is a pain in the neck. By design, these meetings usually occur in the Protectors Enclave early on. Each instance can only hold forty-five people. and they fill up quick. So, when trying to create a party, instead of the game automatically transferring all of the players to an instance with enough slots open, players must manually search the instance list, choose one, and get everyone there before it fills out. An MMO like this should really have a better solution in place.
In terms of characters, Neverwinter gives players plenty of options and customization. In addition to selecting a race and role, players can customize their characters physical appearance and personal history. Each race and role comes with its own pros and cons, and players can select their character based on how they like to play. Unlike other games, each characters abilities in Neverwinter impact the way players experience the game.
