A moment later, I caught my breath, but I didn't say anything.
I like coincidences. They make me wonder about destiny, and whether free will is an illusion or just a matter of perspective. They let me speculate on the idea of some master plan that, from time to time, we're allowed to see out of the corner of our eye.
There isn?t much better in this life than finding a way to spend a few hours in conversation with people you respect and love. You have to carve this time out of your life because you aren?t really living without it.
The car rocked back and forth and tipped uphill.
Over the years your bodies become walking autobiographies, telling friends and strangers alike of the minor and major stresses of your lives.
You have to recognize when the right place and the right time fuse and take advantage of that opportunity. There are plenty of opportunities out there. You can't sit back and wait.
Your parents, they give you your life, but then they try to give you their life.
