I like coincidences. They make me wonder about destiny, and whether free will is an illusion or just a matter of perspective. They let me speculate on the idea of some master plan that, from time to time, we're allowed to see out of the corner of our eye.
Nothing is as simple as we hope it will be.
Nobody is ever met at the airport when beginning a new adventure. It's just not done.
People everywhere confuse what they read in newspapers with news.
There is only one thing a philosopher can be relied upon to do, and that is to contradict other philosophers.
Anger at lies lasts forever. Anger at truth can't last.
Refuse to be ill. Never tell people you are ill; never own it to yourself. Illness is one of those things which a man should resist on principle.
