Cudesne moci Kur’ana Gotovo da se sve arapske hamajlije zasnivaju na citatima iz Kur’ana ili na kur’anskim ucenjima. To je i prirodno, jer Arapi Kur’an smatraju izvorom sveg znanja i mudrosti.
Hamajlijski zapisi Kao hamajlija, jos je vaznija "Fatiha" koju veoma postuju muslimani u cijelom svijetu:
U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog!
1. Tebe, Allaha, Gospodara svetova hvalimo,
2. Milostivog, Samilosnog,
3. Vladara dana sudnjeg,
4. Tebi se klanjamo i od Tebe pomoc trazimo!
5. Uputi nas na pravi put,
6. na put onih kojima si milost Svoju darovao,
7. a ne onih koji su protiv sebe srdzbu izazvali, niti onih koji su zalutali!
“Fatiha” je za muslimane ono sto su Ocenas i krst za krscane. Stoji izdvojena na pocetku knjige i uvijek je pazljivo i lijepo napisana. cesto je okruzena ukrasnim ivicama bogatih sara i raznovrsnih boja, i raskosno ukrasena uglacanim zlatom.
U Kur’anu ima vise kracih poglavlja koja se, takođe, vrlo cesto koriste kao hamajlijski zapisi. Među njima poseban znacaj ima sura “Iskrenost” (Al-Ihlas) koja govori o Bozijem jedinstvu:
U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog!
1. Reci: "On je Allah - Jedan!
2. Allah je utociste svakom.
3. Nije rodio i rođen nije,
4. i niko Mu ravan nije!"
Izgovaranje ove sure trebalo bi da donese covjeku onoliko zasluga koliko bi stekao citanjem trecine cijelog Kur’ana. Muslimani je veoma postuju i cesto je uce.
Sljedece sure - “Svitanje” (Al-Falaq) i “Ljudi” (An-Nas”) - su veoma djelotvorne protiv crne magije i đavola:
U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog!
1. Reci: "Uticem se Gospodaru svitanja
2. od zla onoga sto On stvara,
3. i od zla mrkle noci kad razastire tmine,
4. i od zla smutljivca kad smutnje sije,
5. i od zla zavidljivca kad zavist ne krije!"
U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog!
1. Reci: "Trazim zastitu Gospodara ljudi,
2. Vladara ljudi,
3. Boga ljudi,
4. od zla sejtana-napasnika,
5. koji zle misli unosi u srca ljudi -
6. I od dzinnova i od ljudi!"
